The exact figure is not the point. It's the fact that the yellow wranger is low balling GGG so he doesn't have to get KTFO. He'd prefer to fight easy fights for less money rather than take a risk. This is boxing after all where it's all about business.

Who is ducking? The guy who was painted into a corner and refused to fight his madatory and dropped the belt AFTER saying he wasn't going to do that. That is who is ducking. You relaize that is why the Sanctioning Bodies created a mandatory position so fighters couldn't just sit on their belts fighting handpicked opponents (which is what Canelo was doing) and not taking on deserving opponents.

As boxing fans we just want the best to fight each other when it matters. We can see retrospectively that Phloyd lowballed Pac and the boxing fans missed a fight of the ages. All because Phloyd is a coward. He didn't even land more punches in their fight 5 years too late. Imagine what Pac would have done to him 6 years ago. The same scenario and similar players with Wrangello and GGG. Golden Girl wants to keep his cash cow and we miss a decent fight. The reason I believe GGG will KTFO Yellow is how far he has gone to duck GGG. If they fought, then we would know for sure. None of this hypothetical matchup BS in a forum.

I wouldn't call his lineage dubious. Cotto set the weight where Canelo agreed to fight. Once you agree on anything there are no excuses.

canelo had been ducking ggg. he will just fight him for a good payday like floyd to pac. canelo will not get another career high payday unless with ggg so he needs to give him realistic money shares. as a professional boxer, canelo should respect the sport and the division champion. too much greed ruins the sport that gave them popularity, experience, and wealth.

 

Maybe we could all try being boxing fans and hope that the fight really does get made. I'm pretty optimistic at the moment about it.
