It would take him a while as the Mexican people would want to congratulate and celebrate with a true champion (yes, I am talking about GGG).
I was at the fight in Vegas. Canelo had a bigger cheer during walk-in but it was GGG who was cheered at the end. People where pissed at the decision. Mexican fans around me were all saying GGG won. He gained a lot of fans that fight.
good... i hate Vegas,. Vegas is overrated. I want Street Fighter style where fighters fight out of their hometown or region. Historic venues like Azteca, lets get it on!
Out of the frying pan, into the fire. Mexico will pick the same type of judges. Canelo surprised a bit with good defensive skills and countering, so he can go the distance again. Why risk a loss when you out land the other guy in at least 7 of the 12 rounds? I'd rather see the match in New York City. If not, GGG should target the WBO belt. A win here would give him the WBC, WBA, IBF, and QBO belts. Everyone knows he already beat Canelo.
Golovkin may be ok in Mexico as at the end of the fight the Mexican fans were cheering him on and booing canelo
