    Incredible. Per Dan Rafael.
GGG made damn near what Ward made in his entire career in this fight.
If GGG was unlucky during his early career, he lucked out BIG TIME with this DAZN contract. DAZN being very well funded and new to the boxing game is throwing crazy money at fighters. GGG was literally in the right place at the right time.

Now to cash out for good against Canelo.

Like many have said, GGG looked slower and diminished. He was getting his head snapped back from Rolls. Rolls was catching him time and time again with big shots. Eventually the highly skilled operator caught him and disposed of his opponent. But there’s too many people that I follow and highly respect saying the same thing: GGG has clearly declined and he will be food for the top opponents.

Middle name should be "money" golovkin .

    DAZN knows who's the champ

Here we go again. One performance where someone looks a bit vulnerable and it's time to retire.
Same **** was said about Golovkin after Rosado, Martirosyan, Brook, Jacobs and Monroe.

No one said he needed to retire after Brook, Jacobs, Martirosyan. But he definitely looked vulnerable in this fight and he’s getting up there in age.

Stupid money. Like how can anyone justify that purse, DAZN is 99$ for a full year I just don't see the numbers adding up.

It doesn't make a lot of sense that they'd pay that. It's pretty much guaranteed that he'll fight Canelo or else DAZN loses millions on GGG.

DAZN is being funded by a billionaire

Its similar to big time soccer clubs paying players abnormal sums of money. Its just some billionaire who doesn't care about profits.

Sweet. Ward has a reputed net worth of $8 million but I highly doubt that figure is correct albeit I hope it's actually a lot less

I think these are correct but I'm not sure

Apparently he earned about $11 mill in total for both Kovalev fights

    Paul Smith (June 2015) - $2 million
    Edwin Rodriguez (November 2013) - $1.9 million
    vs. Chad Dawson (September 2012) - $1,367,500
    vs. Carl Froch (December 2011) - $900,000

His purse for Brand was $850,000

And he allegedly earned $1.85 million for the Sullivan Barrera fight

And you say GGG's purse for fighting Steve Rolls was $15 mill or close to $15 million? lol

Not sure that fight will be a money-winner as well as making up for what dazn threw away on this one.

Probably a lot of free month takers for Canelo-3G III or if they don’t offer the trial then one-month subs that cancel after. Will have to pay out PPV $$$ to both without PPV revenue from subscribers. Will just eat up a big chunk of Eddie’s dazn-gifted payroll.

Eddie’s big promise to conquer America not happening so far. He was the self-proclaimed Brit boy genius who was going to show us all how he could make stars in the USA and turn guys like GGG into cash cows.

Only star he’s made is Snickers Ruiz and that was at the expense of his own bell cow. And Ruiz is in the rival PBC stable.

Not a good look. Doesn’t portend well for dazn USA success in the long haul.

I think Golovkin made a lot more than that, we have to consider external factors like sponsors. If my calculations are correct, golovkin made 500 million dollars taking in to account funding, sponsors and the Dazn money.

As a matter of fact, maybe his networth is now in the billions?
