Actually, this is Golovkin to Ward:

"At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers - I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter - I'm not interested in the reason, I only heard your "no." But you remember that HBO said then that they would need a long time to build-up the fight. Then what the **** are you talking about excuses?""

Wrong! Ward is high risk high reward.:deal If you fight him you get a career high payday and if you beat him you have legitimized your whole career with a legacy fight and silenced all the haters.:deal

 Great choice ... comparing it to a fight w/ a LW versus a WW. And you think that helped your opinion?

How the **** is Wade, Rosado or anyone of the other bums he fought paying him more? You're a damn fool if you think that if GGG fought Ward he wouldn't be betting a career high payday. FFS sake Lance use your ****ing head. HBO would hype the **** out of the fight and it would be the biggest payday he could have got outside of Canelo.

Ward got 2 million fighting Smith dummy. Who does GGG make more money fighting against other than Canelo?:hi:

Ward's last opponent got 30k and a bag of frozen corn dogs for his troubles. :-( I guess that's what they mean by "career high payday" where you come from?
