Golovkin will move up 168-175 by 2020?

    I will be the first to say I'm in disagreement with GGG waiting this long to move up in weight, GGG is 34 years old (as of Jan 9, 2017) which means he is already nearing out of his prime and the elite fighters at 168 will be gone in 1-2 years tops and by the time he's competing at Light Heavyweight he will be 37-38 years old and will be past his prime at that point. This will backfire on his career and much bigger paydays, If he's thinking about waiting for Canelo that fight will never happen while GGG is a threat especially with Canelo being Oscar's only golden goose and if he loses Canelo, Golden Boy Promotions will be pretty much nothing; but if GGG moves up to 168 and faces the George Groves and beats the breaks off of him and then faces DeGale vs Jack winner (In my opinion GGG beats Jack but DeGale maybe a more difficult style), he will be guaranteed a big payday and I'm pretty sure he can lure a old Cobra out of retirement for a huge pay day (Froch).

    Now after GGG beats a few top level guys at 168 he will then proceed to fighting at 175 (late 2018), and of course he would have great options like Kovalev, Stevenson, Cleverly, Ward, and many other elite competitors; and atleast GGG will still have some fight left in him at 36. I don't like the idea of a mid 30's fighter moving up in two weight divisions against younger and better fighters. What you guys think?

    He really doesn't need to move up. I hope he just stays at middleweight and continues to rack up title defenses there while making certain people angry :)

    I hope Canelo doesn't either so he can waste his time for a payday that's not there.

    GGG should be fine most elite boxers are taking youth hormones these days like wlad and Floyd were so if as I suspect golovkin is also using them it will extend his career

    That works. And both will have plenty of big fights and money to be made in their respective weight classes. Even a catch weight somewhere between the two would be fun. Either way they both got options at their weight

    As long as triple BBB side doesn't get the payday it makes no difference. I want cinnamon to get the last laugh and to be honest he's currently winning. Fans can call him a coward all they want, no payday for triple BBB side

    I give a damn about people earning them, GGG has not earned it, who has he fought?!? Say what you want Cinnamon takes on all challenges Lara, Floyd etc etc. BBB forgets he's no longer the A side when it comes to fighting Canelo. Take the money that's offered to you beat him like your expected to and become the new cash cow. Canelo does not need GGG. GGG needs him so he better kiss the pinky ring like Canelo has done on more than one occasion

    No payday for triple BBB side go fight someone who matters. His best opposition he's a 8-1 favorite over lol. The Wilder of 160lb division hahaha. No payday for you old man. Wait him on Cinnamon, or give him short money real short money so he can learn what A side really means. Also after GGG vs Jacobs bombs on PPV. I hope GBP offers less than 10mil
