That's one way of looking at it, I suppose.

    I don't think he's a LH.

But let's see him make 168 again before we call it a duck from GGG.

Carl will get stopped in the 1st round.

Ggg is all wrong for him, I'd avoid him

I like froch but he's always a slow starter, groves pounced on him early and almost had him out of there in the 1st, I think golovkin will do better.

I'm not calling it a duck. But Ward is clearly the best super middleweight in the world, and I think he's just going for a more comfortable weight after a long layoff, where his career might be at a crossroads and he might be better off moving to 175 if GGG and Froch show no interest in facing him.

even if he could make 168 how is it a duck when golovkin has never fought at even 168?

Shouldn't you be rewatching Pac-Floyd in slow-mo for the 100th time?

He's got an agenda he's doesn't like Kovalev because he thinks he's crazy, meanwhile he has no problem with Beterbiev who is most likely a sympathizer with the Chechen cause, because most Chechens are.

At this point I don't think GGG is ready for Froch, Froch would fight GGG very cautiously like he did Groves in the second match and AA, and Froch is just rangy enough and has a good enough jab to control the distance better than most of GGG's opponents. Also Froch's power would keep GGG honest and make him hesitant to stalk Carl and try to walk him down, and if he does Froch may win by KO.

I love GGG but fans on here need a reality check.

Ward and Froch are up here __________

whereas most of GGG's comp to date is here____________

Murray wouldn't have lasted 11 rounds with The Cobra.

I was responding to the poster (one of many) who was calling it a duck. If GGG moves up and beats Froch and Ward gets back down to 168 then let's see what happens.

That would be a horrible cruel way for such a brave warrior to end his career

Exactly. Too big for 168 now but doing all he can to stay out of 175 cause of a severe case of Sergeyphobia

    172

Yes, but then you're the guy who said Manny Pacquaio had better/faster footwork than Floyd Mayweather... so to quote yourself "You don't know **** about boxing"

Ward is over-hyped bigtime, on the back of some impressive wins but there has always been flaws in his game. I don't see him keeping Golovkin off him for 12 rounds and I see him folding once he gets hit.

Froch on the other hand would lose to Ward, but is the right type of guy to beat Golovkin - heavy handed fighter, good chin, great stamina, awkward punching angles.

Never seen anyone get so highly rated for beating the Macklins, Murrays and Geales of the world. It's hilarious.

    GGG is still unproven.

I never ever said that Pacquiao had better footwork than Floyd. I said I thought the gap in foot speed would be negligible, and was wrong on that, but never said he had BETTER footwork than Floyd.

    Fair enough.

I think Ward is too big, too fast, too smart, and too good on the inside and outside and switching to and fro for a largely unproven commodity like GGG.

Agreed that Froch has what it takes to beat Golovkin, but again, I see that as a 50-50 type with a slight edge to Froch.

In my estimation, you are grossly underestimating the immense talen which is Andre Ward, and you are simultaneously overrating GGG's abilities, especially as you're projecting them to 168 where at his size, with his style, a move up will almost assuredly make him less efficient with the move up.
