Ward would be slighty the bigger man but here isn't a significant size disparity for the fight not to happen. GGG wanted Froch , Kessler and Chavez at one point. In fact he said he wanted every top name from 154- 175.
That turned out to be a load of hot air. What he really turned out to be is a bully boy who only likes to call out welters , retired welters and retired super middle's. And Manny Pacaqiuoa

Byrd? Meaning Byrd's win over Vitali? If that is, in your opinion, 'Making mince meat out of..', you set a sh*t standard for that phrase. Byrd got lucky to get out of there with his win.

Are you on mind bending drugs?

Sergey toyed with Andre and made him look like an amateur?

    Ha!

    Wow!

Sergey looked lost towards the end of the fight. He was missing and getting countered.

I suggest you go and rewatch the fight.

Byrd made the big man look like a fool. It was embarrassing for Vitali.

    Wake up man.

I love GG, but Kell had his head bouncing around all over.

You've got to be blind if you can't see that Andre is technically superior.

Kova losing the intensity he had in the beggining of the fight does not mean he was NOT beating Ward throughout the fight, Ward deserved at least 5 rounds, and even those were close.

Dino, when you say stuff like this, it really begs the questions whether you even watched the fight, or are doing your sh*t talking schtick. Byrd was getting whooped util Vitali's shoulder injury forced him to quit.

Golovkin did not even take Brook seriously, he was putting on a show. Also how well would Brooks skill set compare with Wards? There is no way of knowing as it is all subjective anyway.

How does Kovalev hurting Ward automatically mean a MW can do the same? What SMWs and LHW has GGG ever fought?
How do you even know he'd be the same hitter moving up? And GGG isn't a one shotter like Kovalev.
He's an attrition fighter and he's to slow and flat footed to mount a consistent attack on Ward. He'd find himself hitting air and re-setting over and over

Ineffective aggression doesn't win you fights.

You've got to be joking if you think he toyed with Andre.

That type of a statement doesn't even warrant a response.

I never saw any Byrd get whooped. Go watch Byrd vs Ike and Wlad. Those fights were a whooping. Byrd v Vitali didn't resemble those beatdowns in the slightest.
Byrd clowned Vitali something ridiculous and forced him to tap out in his corner. Fighters don't quit because they have an injury. Brook fought 3 rounds with a shattered eye socket against GGG. Thats how many rounds Vitali had left when he bottled out against a tweener.

And Ward said he would fight Floyd and be a heavyweight champ.

Kovalev outboxed Ward,as the whole world saw, being on your backfoot does not guarantee a victory. Thank those three Murican judges for Wards victory, had this fight taken place anywhere else Kova wins and you know it.

GG didn't have an ounce of respect for Kell's power. However, he didn't let Kell have free shots. It's not that he purposely didn't defend himself. He couldn't stop those shots. It's just that they didn't phase him. Yes, he put on a show. Yes, he psyched him out. But he clearly showed his defensive vulnerabilities. He hasn't got a great defence. Andre would find him with absolute ease.

Kell is a skilful guy, but he's not on Andre's level. He's fast and flashy, but he hasn't got Andre's timing and distance control. Andre's never been in a fight where he's been easy to hit flush repeatedly, like how GG and Kell have.
