Of course people miss. But if you're constantly moving forward and you're missing your shots whilst getting countered in return, you are being outboxed. Andre Ward outboxed Sergey Kovalev for the majority of the fight. I mentioned the Dirrell fight, because like Sergey, Carl was awarded rounds for ineffective aggression.
I think at this moment in time, Andre would have to be the clear favourite over GG. We really need to see him fight at SMW before we can look at things any closer.
Except Ward was throwing potshotts and not doing much or any sort of effective countering, but whatever, all hail Ward.
As you were told, re-watch the fight. You clearly are just bias, blind or you don't know how to score rounds.
I'm going to watch it again soon mate, and then I might post up my scores. Bailey has already done a complete RBR breakdown. I had Andre a clear winner.
It's funny watching these posters flip flop calling Ward a guy who should join wwe and being a runner who back peddled all night. Understand that boxing is a science and ring generalship is a scoring criteria. The butt hurt some of you guys are displaying is atrocious. Man the **** up.
Did you have to watch it in extra slow motion as well? The only delusional person here is you, leave it to a small percentage of people to be so deluded, even the biased Pro American boxing channels on YouTube begrudgingly had Kova winning.
It's pointless taking this any further. I can't waste my time with someone who genuinely thinks that Andre looked helpless in there.
I wonder if the people who scored it for Kovalev in the media have actually went back and watched the fight over again. If that's the case we could see some fluctuation in the amount of people who scored the fight for Kovalev originally.
Remind them to watch the fight in slow motion, they might see something there, just like pacfans did against Mayweather.
