If GGG could climb from 160-Hw like Roy Jones Jr. he would be an ATG.

Any decent boxer outpoints Ruiz. Particularly if he's not allowed to hold excessively and fake low blows.

Another imaginary win for GGG. Seriously I am a GGG fan but I live in reality. How about we judge him based on what he does and not what he may be able to do especially when his career so far shows no indication of him being sucessful at higher weights BECAUSE HE HAS NOT FOUGHT AT HIGHER WEIGHTS. He most likely would not make it past LHW anyway and could have some losses at SMW that could deter any further move up in weight. But we don't know because he hasn't shown it. So lets get out of fantasy land and talk about what is actually happening in boxing. Sh*t thread...

I agree but you're talking to ggg fanboys. Their whole lives are a mix of fantasy and denial.

I don't think so. Ruiz is like Martin Murray + 60lbs. And Murray had his moments.

I think he'd beat GGG up.

Agree with this. I hang from Golovkin's nuts on a regular basis, but let's be reality-based for a second. RJJ was bigger than GGG and freakishly fast. That's the reason that he managed to win over Ruiz. Golovkin's fundamentals may be fantastic, but Ruiz is a HW and size would tell. He'd be able to take GGG's blows better and land more of his own. Golovkin might look good for a while but I'd expect him to get worn down as the fight progressed.

Am I the only one that thinks that PBC is great, subzero, primal troll, and the other alts on here are really anti-ggg, and they're just making these threads so people hate on him more?

kevin willis, selina, alabama bbq, loudon are some other posters who pretend to defend GGG but actually hate him too. I'm a floyd fan, but I rarely try and defend him because I know that it's only going to rile the haters up more, these GGG fans defend him 24/7 knowing that they're making people dislike him more, and even turning GGG fans away since they don't want to be associated with these wackjobs.

Actually it is a BIG deal. GGG is a mw who is not as fast as Rjj and Ruiz is a heavyweight who clinches too much.
