Garcia/Matthysse and Tyson/Holyfield are some fights that taught me a very important lesson. A good plan and style will burst anyone's bubble.

He won't fight the same as when he fought Lemmie. And the fight won't go as long. I think GGG was cautious of Lemmies power until almost the very end of the fight. I'm pretty sure he'll feel Canelo's power before the end of round two and then it will be an all out attack against a guy that can't run from him. Standard GGG fight. The only difference is he won't put Canelo down in the first or second round. It'll be the 5th round (+/- one round) when he puts him down and then he'll put him out the round after.

Anyone saying its a blow out either way DKSAB.

On paper this is a 50/50 fight. As far as styles, Canelo excels against come forward fighters. Canelo also has the best waist and head movement from 154 north, so Ggg's mediocre jab that stopped (no defense having, one dimensional, come forward) Lemieux is not going to have the same effect on a fighter with Elite talent.

Canelo is also younger, BUT more experienced at the world level.

The only advantage Ggg has going into this fight is power, that is all.

As an unmarked Golovkin stands atop the ring post saluting his adoring fans, Alvarez gingerly staggers back and collapses into his stool, 6 brutal knock downs, 2 cracked ribs and both eyes swollen shut later......

"Our winner and NEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWW WBA, WBC, IBO and IBF Champion of the Worrrrrrrrrrrllllldd, Saul "Canelllllllllllloooo" Alvarez!!!!!!!!"

:risas3: Hhmmm... so YOU know more about BOXERS than Cocaine O$CAR right ?

:bandit: If this fight were anywhere CLOSE to 50/50 GBP wouldn't have forced El Pollo Loco Canelo to....

    SURRENDER THE BELT !!!

:squezer: You Canelo TROLLS continue to spout the same ole NONSENSE ignoring GBP's schemes/plots/lies, as O$car attempts to avoid Canelo meeting GGG at all co$ts.

This would be far more competitive and GGG knows it. He's said that Canelo is the best match up for him out there. He's keenly aware of his skill, especially as a counter puncher. I see Canelo landing multiple uppercuts, but if he couldn't stop/hurt Cotto, I don't think he can hurt GGG. Canelo will look good, land a high percentage, but ultimately I don't think he can keep GGG off him for 12 rounds.

It's hard top KO a fighter fighting off the back foot as Cotto was for that fight. Had he fought Canelo the way he fought Maragrito he would have been KTFO before the 6th.

Ggg is not a backfoot fighter.

Why is triple G the overall better fighter?

Say friend, how many times have you heard of a fighter with no large casual fanbase turning down 8 figures?

Some of you guys are foolish. The money is what it is. If Triple G was what y'all claim he is he'd take the 10 f'ing million dollar offer to fight the biggest attraction in boxing.

I wonder what some of y'all would say to your ladies if they turned down a job that was 5x more than what they ever got paid before.

Just my opinion. Think Canelo has more obvious weaknesses in that he doesn't always work enough in a round imo. especially if he has to go looking for the other guy, and can be more easily outboxed on the outside with his slower feet.
