    Gerald McClellan
    Julian Jackson
    Mike McCallum
    Michael Nunn
    James Toney
    Roy Jones, Jr.
    Bernard Hopkins
    Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank
    Steve Collins

Maybe he would've lost to some of these guys but for sure he'd have fought most of them.:good

It's really unfortunate that with such a deep talent pool, the actual amount of fights between the top middleweights was small.

I'm in awe when I look back at how deeply talented the early 90s was at MW. But they hardly fought each other.

Non of them could have beaten him, he's unbeatable at mw. Only current fighter that (could) make a fight of it is a lhw Kovalev and thats against a mw ggg

Calling out a fighter when you know damn well he has a unification fight already signed, whilst you are fighting 2 divisions higher at 172 against a middleweight who isn't top 5 in his own country doesn't hold much validation.

I'm a fan of Ward but it looks as though he is using Golovkins name to keep relevant since he's fighting as often as the current version of Lennox Lewis.

Maybe he would've been avoided by some fighters but I'm pretty sure he would've been eager to fight them since all held a mw title at some point.

Being most familiar with the Toney, Jones Jr., and Hopkins of that time, as compared to the UK guys. Golovkin would lose to all three.
