Yeah Ward and Froch should be big favorites to beat him. GGG is a relatively small MW while Ward and Froch are rather big SMW's. The physical advantages alone would be hard to overcome for Gennady. Apart from that they are fine boxers themselves. Said it in another thread, the jump from 160 to 168 is bigger than it seems.

Froch and Ward would both have 15 pounds on him come fight night. If one of those fight happens and GGG somehow pulls off a miracle win, it would be a real big achievement and he should find himself near the top spots of the p4p list immidiately after.

I think it is more realistic that he stays at 160 with the occassional showdown at 154 (Canelo in the future maybe?). Right now I don't see anybody beating him at 160 or 154.

no 1 at 160 could beat him... id love to see him go against chavez jr because it would be a great fight to watch but unless GGG gets outweighed by jumping up a division i dont see him loosing (which tells you how talented he is)

A game against a limited fighter??? Trust me Ward ain't nervous. This guy is to small to compete with Ward. You guys are hyping him way to much. WHy happens when he fights someone that can hit him back?? We really don't know how strong his chin and skin is.

Nobody under 169 or over 154 beats him except the Cobra.

He's smart enough to use his stiff jab and he can adjust and change fightplans in a second.

NTM.....GGG has fought a few punchers and basically proved a solid beard, but he aint been hit by anyone who can punch like Froch.

Also.....Froch has been tagged by guys who punch and I doubt GGG could KO Carl with a single shot.

Not saying Froch WOULD beat GGG, but of that list, only Froch has the tools to get it done.

Your right his chin and skin has not been tested by a big puncher. I have a feeling he has weak skin that cuts easy.

GGG is like Floyd, tough to hit, so we might not ever see his chin tested:smoke
I don't think this is hype bro, Macklin is tough but he went down from a body shot that had the ref pissing blood:lol:

Ward/Froch/Martinez - top level fighters, and GGG has not yet been tested at the top level.
