He has a George Foreman type power, heavy handed.Holyfield who was KOED by Bowe had no problem taking Tysons power, but it doesn't diminish Tysons reputation. I have been a boxing fan since before you were born and saw all of the big fights year in and year out and I appreciate GGG and think he is a breath of fresh air to boxing. It's ok with me if you hate Golovkin, that's your peragative, enjoy your hating.

Swap 13 with 7 and i'd agree. Mack pushed all of them close bar GGG. Both on their best day I pick Mack too..Actually take the belt out of it and hes a better fighter than Geale too imo

The only problem with that is.... which actual quality wins does Macklin have? Going life and death with Welborn and Rose? Fine, maybe he deserved the nod against Sturm, but barely. Whereas Gabe Rosado has wins over Tapia, Clottey, Soto Karass, Ouma and got robbed of a win with his draw against Arias, and robbed blind against J'Leon Love and Martin Murray, not to mention gave tough fighters to Sulecki, Quillin, and hung tough against GGG and Lemieux.

    1&2.Canelo
    3.Jacobs
    4.Lemieux
    5.Murray

His reputation will have to rest on beating Canelo, sort of like Jose Napoles rep is basically all about beating Emile Griffith. Shame on those *******s for robbing him.

lol, he had better wins than that mate, they were his end of career fights..I thought he gave your boy a tough fight, Sergio only stamped his authority when Mack's tank was depleting, no two ways about it he should've been crowned world champ v Sturm, I wouldn't of liked his chances if it went another round though, he was done....He was a hot and cold fighter, a fighter that would struggle with Domestic but always gave a good account of himself if he was in with world class. He was good enough to compete and beat a few above him but he doesn't have the wins to prove his quality..Rosado's a tough game man, lasted longer on the scene than Mack, but I think they were in the same league/level without a doubt, good contenders !

Now now GGG has multiple cherries on top of his career.
    ; )

Martitosian, Steve Rolls, & brooks at MW are 3 perfect examples of cherries.

    that’s quite a Sundae!

The fact that you mention Holyfield being KO'd by Bowe proves you have no clue whatsoever what happened in that fight, and I won't even bother to educate you either. The majority of Golovkin fans seem to be complete newbies when it comes to the sport's history. You guys were just suckered in through social media hype and nothing else. No you weren't a Boxing fan before I was born, if you were, you wouldn't have mentioned Holyfield vs Bowe III the way you did. It takes zero brains to realize that Golovkin's entire career is an absolute joke and the proof is right there for you to see. Who gives a damn about him nowadays?. He's still begging for a third fight against Alvarez and being laughed at even by his fans for it.

    Spot on man!

Golovkin was an HBO fabrication. His fame came from rumors, mythical match ups, and KO no hopers.

    Exactly!.

Even they pulled the plug on him after his failure to sell yet another joke fight on PPV against Lemieux. That's when they realized it's either a donation from Alvarez for this guy or he's roasted.

Jesus Christ, his resume is worse than I thought. His fangirls are struggling to name his best wins and are naming amateur bouts and bouts in which he lost...

They even went as low as selling him to Mexicans as "Mexican style", and a lot of dumbasses swallowed hook, line, and sinker.... and when he finally fought the real Mexican elite all the Mexican style **** went out the door.... LMAO!!

All the fake stories about him devouring Heavyweights with single shots in sparring went down the drain rather fast too. To add insult to injury, he went life and death against someone with 14 professional fights in his last circus affair. :qmeparto:

Gotcha, so you want to just make up results and have everybody operate from that made up position?

It really goes to show you how powerful the media machine is.

You got GGG fans who have been following boxing for less than 5 years claiming to know more about boxing and about scoring fights than George Foreman, Mike Tyson and Roberto Duran!!! HAHAHAHAHA.......

I've already ran into people comparing this farce to Hagler and Tyson in terms of actual accomplishments. This entire social media parade is absolute toxic. It has done nothing but dumb people down and expose how idiotic people can truly be. I promise you, and I have said this previously numerous times, if it wasn't for social media exploding from 2012+, this guy will be an unknown till he retires. He will be nothing but yet another Felix Sturm. Either that, or he would have been forced by his management to seriously step up and got sparked in the process.

It's very obvious that what we're saying is realistic because his entire hype train exploded extremely quickly as soon as he suffered his first loss. He was milked as hard as they possibly can thanks to the easy to hype world of social media(a world which is clearly infested with falsely advertised products). When it was finally time to step him up, they still took a less risky route to hopefully maintain their future possibilities and had him fight a Light Middleweight(Alvarez). It was a step-up but clearly a safe one and still he couldn't make it.

Take a look at him today, no one gives a damn about him anymore and the media doesn't even bother to mention him either. If he had ANY serious achievements worth mentioning, the world will be forced to remember him as we are regularly forced to remember Pacquiao, Mayweather, Leonard, Tyson, Hagler, Ali, Foreman, Hearns...etc. All these fighters broke records and made serious marks, that's why even if you don't like them, you have to mention and respect them.
