why do you have an issue with ME answering OCCASIONALLY for loudon, when I have no issue for you CLEARLY answering for someone else here.
you are an absolute nonce. most usually means more than say 70%, yes? youre saying more than 70% of fights in those eras were fixed?
HW's of today are a completely different breed of athletes who would murder everybody before Ali. MURDER them. AJ vs Moore for example, would be hilarious for the 1 rd it lasted. Wlad would brutalise Rocky. If you want to think these 5'10 small HW's compare to today's HW's than you're a bit of a nonce yourself. Now, if you want to state to me that guys who weigh less than GGG throw harder punches than him, than you don't know anything about how force is generated. Saying these guys who weigh almost 10lb less than GGG would be like saying Spence hits as hard as GGG. Which is complete bull****. Once they went to a higher weight, LHW for example, yes some of them were bigger punches than GGG. During their time at MW and below, none of those people hit harder than GGG. I've just educated myself with any highlight reels I could find of them and they like throwing Hayemakers, that's for sure.
I'm not a mystic and don't know how many of these fights were fixed. I know most of them were. Its probably why most boxers back than have win loss records like any old journeymen. Did that thought ever cross your mind, you nonce?
oh so we're talking about forces now? obviously thats how punching power is generated, its just force = mass x acceleration... except boxers are not toy model cars in a physics classroom. why does felix sturm, same weight as golovkin but faster, hit softer than golovkin? what a mystery! yes, heavyweights of old were generally alot smaller than the giants of today, although you will be surprised how many 6'3", 220+ heavys there were in the eras you are not familiar with. but today there are the light heavyweight division, filled with men the size of marciano, the cruiserweight division made of men ranging from 190-230lb, even the super middleweight division. so why doesnt golovkin move up just 8 pounds to face these men who could have been heavyweights in, say the 1920's? why didn't he take some superfights to prove his daunted power while waiting for canelo to accept the offer?
so you dont know how many of those fights are fixed but you do know that most of them were. you must be pulling my plonker. what does a win loss record have to do with anything? put the fighters of today in the old school fight schedules and guess what not only will they have the same sort of win loss records but many will improve
I see you're just a GGG hater. With his perfect record I can see why you're so upset. I'm truly sorry he's beaten your favourites before and made all of your pre-fight predictions about him not come to fruition.
I'm not the head of the Mafia, so I don't know which fights they was fixing back in those days. Its a well known fact the Mafia controlled boxing back then. I thought you were a boxing historian for a second, you just proved me wrong.
so it seems we are at the stage of the argument where we trade insults. now i will be off to breakfast. just one last thing, im not a boxing historian. not even close. i freely admit, im 20 years old and have been seriously following boxing a little more than a year. for me to look like a historian to you suggests you should learn more about history, no? or at least not make such bold claims like most fights of a certain era were fixed fights. its a well known fact the mafia controlled boxing back then? can you point out to me specifically when exactly is "back then"? i only say this for your sake, next time you might not meet such a kindhearted poster such as myself
There's a video called "Boxing and the Mafia" on youtube which may educate you. I'm not really knowledgeable about every minute detail about the Mafia's dealings during the era but I know it happened. I've seen it mentioned in many, many articles over the years. As for looking out for my welfare, thanks but no thanks. I know how to deal with internet Trolls, and the more serious customers who want to play keyboard warrior with me. I've been browsing the internet for almost 20 years now, and know which is which.
similar on one view, but more different than similar in that even, and there is not any way on earth that i am one of the best posters here or remotely close, i got massive gaps in my time spent watching the sport whenever it was "paid for" just to begin with, but its nice to see you treat people bon homie, thanks.
I had Golovkin winning 8 rounds to 4 easily....................and yes, Golovkin has an iron chin, he walked right through Alvarez' punches..................
