GGG has never been hit by a elite puncher.............Alex Stewart had like 28 or so fights with 28 ko's or something similar but once he stepped up his power was void... same goes for GGG opponents C and B level who cannot deliver at the A level............Canelo is not a hard puncher at Middle, not even close.
If Jackson hits him flush, he'll go down. He might not seize on the floor, but his balance won't hold him up any more. I can't see Golovkin getting knocked out cold though. When he turns 40, and if he fights a guy who can punch like him, he could get knocked out. Golovkins worst nightmare would be a presser who can hit like him.
I think Golovkin would likely get to Jackson before Jackson gets to him but Jackson always has a shot with his power and could possibly knockout GGG.
LOL, GGG fans have a lot more confidence it his supposed to be granite chin than the man himself, he certainly backed off plenty from the average hitting Canelo, even when Cement Canelo stood dead tired at the ropes he did not come in guns blazing because he was dead afraid of the counters....
Everyone has jumped on this Triple G. Bandwagon over the yrs. It's as if he's been destroying quality opposition. He's fought two good fighters and they both took him to the limit, and theirs really nothing Special about those two . And the rest of the fighters he's fought are average, or below average.
Aside from Gman and McCallum...Jackson's power is sick for sure but some chins can stand up to it. I do think Lemieux and Jacobs are legit MW punchers and he took flush shots from both guys without any effect. It's A grade for sure don't think there's anyone in the division right now or on the horizon who will test his chin more than those two.
GGG s chins comparable to Mike mcallum, so I see a similar scenario. Jackson may actually rock him very quickly but he'll hang in. A round or two later Golovkin smashes through and stops Jackson. I'll go with a 4 th round ko in a short exciting fight.
