i dunno if anyone thinks he isnt worthy to fight cotto...its just why does he want cotto so bad? does he need the "belt"? he doesnt....he sees a cherrypick/name/defining win to grab against a welterweight.....thats why he and his fans want it so bad....he wants cotto to legitamize him.....and cotto wont let him....so his fans cry

    What?

You tell me who makes the most money at MW... is it not the lineal MW champ, Miguel Cotto?

Golovkin wants the belt but really, he wants the popularity & payday that come with a Cotto fight.

Not rocket science, I'd suggest off'ing yourself if you don't get it.

    umm....thats what my post implied...dummy....

he wants the name/defining win....and yes the money also......but his fans and stans on here keep insisting its about the belt and it being rightfully his and he deserves the shot at it because hes earned it.......they need to stop pretending the belt is what they want .....they want the scalp for ggg....to be legitamized by the cotto name.....ggg doesnt need the belt

ggg is 33 without a career defining win(whether is own fault or not)...and hes yet to move out of his division even once to get it if thats what it takes......so when cotto, a welterweight, tells ggg to "screw"....then take it for what it is....instead of his fans making the excuses "ggg deserves a shot at the belt...hes in line for it"

Good post, and not bringing up Proxa win over Sylvester. Nor Geales wins, Murrays robbery losses, Rubios wins and most recent win over Lemiuex.

Sure guys like Stevens, Rosado, Ishiida etc were just stay busy fights, but they won solid fights to get there, as did Monroe.

Ishiida KTFO Kirland FAAAAAAARRRR easier than Canelo. FAAAAARRR easier.

HATERZ INC out in full force these days.:lol::lol:

I rank GGG highly and Roman Gonzalez highly, I have Chocolatito above GGG in fact BUT.........

Gonzalez's last 11 opponents before they fought him.
    Edgar Sosa 51-8-0
    Valentin Leon 38-28-3
    Rocky Fuentes 35-7-2
    Akira Yaegashi 20-3-0
    Juan Purisima 11-4-1
    Juan Kantun 21-5-3
    Oscar Blanquet 32-6-1
    Francisco Rodriguez Jr 12-1-0
    Ronald Barrera 30-11-2
    Juan Francisco Estrada 26-1-0
    Stiven Monterrosa 9-0-2

But no one has a problem with Roman being ranked so highly.:conf

    Wow, you DKSAB.

Because Yaegashi, Estrada, and Rodriguez would each be Golovkins' best victory by far. Edgar Sosa would also be top 3 best victory at worst for Golovkin... Roman reigned as #1 in two divisions and has won a belt in 3, all in the recent few years.

Stop it....at this point you know I'm well aware of how valuable those wins are and I'm not putting down Roman, the wins happened in divisions no one really follows except for hardcore fans and guess what most of the posters on here don't closely follow the MW division either. GGG's opponents in spite of their records are all solid guys and he's KO'd all of them.

And for the record I guess you missed the point about me ranking Roman higher than GGG. If you look really closely at many fighters records they can from a certain fans perspective seem lackluster.

Kind of odd examples you chose considering how many of them actually fought one another :huh And presumable each of these men could "punch back".

    Jose Luiz Gonzalez doesn't exist
    Julian fought McCllelan 2x
McCllellan fought Julian 2x and Mugabi
    Hatton fought Kostya
    Kostya fought Judah and Hatton
    Judah fought Kostya

The quality of opposition in their last 11 opponents is not comparable. Roman's opposition greatly dwarfs that of Golovkin. Your post only further proves that point.

And for the record perhaps you missed the fact that you posted that list with the quote "but no one has a problem with Roman being ranked so highly" as if to say they are comparable lists of opponents and people are being hypocrites for giving Golovkin a hard time and Roman a pass when they, by everyone's ranking of their opponents, are not (spare for a few random trolls, perhaps).

No I'm merely saying people have no problem having Roman Top 2 or 3 and he's deserves it, yet the anti GGG trolls on this site act like he shouldn't even be in the top 20.

I'm obviously a very biased pro-EE fan so to me it gets frustrating when on a daily basis these idiots do nothing but start endless amount of threads to try to tear down fighters who are top tier and bash the hell out of them, when in reality most of them don't even follow LHW or MW and know the level of guys like Kovalev and GGG's opposition. They are far better than they are made out by the haters to be.
