This whole thing is ust attention w.h.o.r.eing, agenda laden filth that reared it's ugly head with your first sentence.

In truth; GGG cut his teeth on some very solid fighters before he came to the States. They were hardly "no-hopers" you dumbs.h.i.t!

I could take each name and shred it to pieces if i was in the mood.

Tyson is a good example of a fighter without any great names to his resume but still ranked very high in boxing history.

The bottom line is that it isn't just the names that count, but the way you defeat them.

Gennady will go on to surpass Hopkin's record 20 title defenses at middle, and will establish probably a record KO streak too, something Hopkins could never match. :hey

That would be great, Bro. I'm just hoping one of the guys he knocks out eventually, wasn't knocked out earlier by Marcos Primera or Kofi Jantuah.

How can so many people knock a guy who has awesome power ,throws a 100 punches a round ,has good stamina and is looking to fight at least 4 times a year?

Funny that Martin Murray, Daniel Geale, Gregory Proska, Asumanu Adamu, Willie Monroe, Nobuhiro Ishida, Lajuan Simon, all entirely agree with you. :hey

    Spot on.

He is a throwback fighter. Look through history of old school greats. They fought often, sometimes vs B level, othertimes C level as they made their way up.

GGG's fights could be in black & white on Gillette Friday Night Fights from 1950's.

That's a very underwhelming resume for a guy that's considered a top 10 P4P fighter and the man to beat at MW.

I'd expect his career to take off now and only be in meaningful fights against top 3 contenders in the division. He's in his 30's already, so he can't be having anymore of these silly "stay busy" fights. These men shouldn't be sharing a ring with him and his management is better off having Gennady fight twice annually instead against better competition.

i will say though, it looks like it hasn't been too easy for him to get the big names to meet him in the ring. I'd like to see him fight Lara while waiting on the Canelo-Cotto fight to take place.

No it's not, what the OP wrote is 100 percent fact.

GGG has been fighting bums his entire professional career. GGG has a better amateur record than pro record.. :rofl

He's comfortable fighting men he's 80-1 against for a reason. You'd have better odds vs a cricket.. :rofl:patsch

im sorry a hall of fame fighter with a great resume wont let ggg use his name for his first real scalp....ggg of no resume at all at age 33....cotto has a bigger fight to look for in canelo......take a seat ggg......

its funny that you say ggg wants the money that cotto brings....but cotto wants the money canelo brings.....at least cotto has earned that stance through years of fighting top competition and taking risks by moving up and taking challenges.....which ggg has done none of....

its great that cotto keeps telling ggg to eff off in essence....and you all whine and call him a diva...i actually love it...i hope he whoops canelo and then keeps the belt and takes on more euro bum trash mw's just to watch you all whine and cry

    Another one of these threads?

GGG wanted to fight better competition but the ****less competition refused to fight him because of his high/risk low reward standing.

The latest name to refuse to fight him is brave English warrior Carl Froch.
He'd rather fight Chavez JR(Another guy who ducked GGG.)

    STOP smoking the crack.

Bum-love-kin's resume is ****. In no way is he the best middleweight since Hopkins. Taylor, Pavlik, Martinez were ALL better than the Triple Duck...
