Hes never going to be a huge star at middle weight though, The only names are jacobs, saunders, eubank, all of them are c level fighters at this point. he can beat all 3 of them and it will do little for his legacy, The only big fight is canelo and if he beats him he has ONE truly credible name and that's being generous to canelo as his best win is an old cotto. I can understand somebody wanting to be able to say they won all the belts, but at the same time when the division at your time is **** poor what does winning all the belts really mean? If he wants to be remembered as an ATG, move up beat kovalev and ward. Maybe hes planning on fighting until his late 30's? maybe he still has time to clean up at middle weight and still go on to move up and dominate? who know's just at his age seems like a strange route to take.

No one gave a sheit when Hopkins did it and no one but the GGGoons give a shiet about Ggg doing it.

The reason Hopkins will always be greater than Ggg is because of who he beat and also what he did post MW.

    Hopkins > Ggg

Biggest hype job ever, if it is not one thing it is another with this guy, he avoids real fights like the plague.

They portray this guy as the one everybody wont fight, because "they" are scared of him, what utter BS.

People are not afraid of this joke, it is him that is afraid, and TBF he wants to earn lots of dough, and you can not blame him.

Kell Brook his last opponent was not scared of him, and if it wasn't for his eye socket getting busted was giving it to him in good fashion, watch the fight again with no sound, look at how KB had him going, look at his legs when he had to grab on to a WW FFS.

The elite should be taking and agreeing to less just to get this joke in the ring.
P#P No1 my butt, never has been and never will.

The Brook fight revealed one thing, that when he faces a serious almost equal compatriot, this hype job ends, he knows it his team know it and so do the fans.

Back in bhops day they didn't count being no1 contender as being a champ and having title defenses.

Robney do you count GGGs regular title defenses?

The young lions are growing up and GGG has been feasting on low level comp, this is about to change and I can't see him maintaining his streak he only has 7 defenses needs another 14!

No one gives a damn about the champs at 160 why? Because they're not even worth talking about the division is weak. If GGG was a WW and was trying to do unify that stacked division I wouldn't be calling for him to move up. Crawford beat Postol at 140 who was considered the best man there and a legit fighter no one else there is worth talking about, so I think he should move up as well. Do you see how that works? Unification in a weak division does nothing for your legacy it just protects your already weak resume. If that's the case Crawford should just sit at 140 for the rest of his career beating up a bunch of C level title holders and mandos one after the other and not move up to 147. If he chooses to do this people will call him out bash him and he won't be given the same passes as GGG despite the fact that he's moved up and already has a better resume than GGG does all the while being younger with fewer fights.

    Not quite the case tbf.

Jacobs and Canelo faced woeful opposition. Saunders is fighting a woeful opponent.

No one in the MW division is fighting real opposition right now.

Who was dangerous for him at 130? What about 135? What about 140? Do you just like to spout nonsense with no ability to back it up?
