Can't blame GGG when no one wants to fight him. Pirog is injured, Sergio doest want to know, Geale decided to feast on old Bumdine (understandable from a business point of view), Quillin won't be allowed near him yet and Macklin is after JCC Jr or Lee. He didn't really have anywhere else to go.

 

Even if Rosado loses, he's still the mandatory for K9's strap at 154. This is just a money grab with huge upside. If he beats Golovki, he could get a Martinez fight.

 

I have now watched Rosado-Whittaker and Rosado-Angulo on Youtube to get an impression of him. Rosado is fun to watch - it will be an entertaining fight.
His style is to sneak into range with a high guard and then unload in bunches. He has pretty fast hands, but a number of flaws.
- weak jab, no range
- chin is not too strong
- physical, but not exceptionally so. Is going to struggle with GGG's size.
- does not go to the body nearly often enough
- footwork seems somewhat basic

HBO seriously needs to get their act together. Rosado must be flat broke coming of an ugly divorce. Either that or he has the ego the size of an aircraft carrier and actually think he has a chance.

All in all Rosado is not a serious opponent to GGG. I would be surprised if bookmakers even took bets on the fight. The only question is if Golovkin can take him out faster than Angulo did - round 2.

 

Golovkin has stated He will fight anyone who wants to Fight him,good on this Bloke for having the Courage to Fight Gennady,unlike anyone in the middleweight division this Fighter has stepped up to the plate for His chance at a World Title fight,well done to him I say,having said that it's a disgrace that there is not a Top 5 Middleweight out there that would grab at a chance for a World Title belt they must be **** Scared of golovkin is the only conclusion.!!!!

Rubio, Murray, Sturm, Lee, N'Jikam, Sylvester, Jacobs, Zbik, McEwan...

Every one of these guys would be his best opponent to date. They can't all be ducking him.

And why do you think Quillin would be kept away? Granted, he struggled with N'Jikam, but that was simply two really good fighters facing each other. I'd give the chocolate one a chance against Golovkin. - People have to get off the hype-train and realize that GGG (while he does look great) still hasn't faced a top pro opponent. (And amateur records don't mean squat.)

Heck, Keith Thurman (where have I heard that name before? ) would probably be a tougher opponent than Rosado.

The one interesting thing about Rosado is that he has 6 KO's in his last 7 fights. - Against low level opponents, but still, perhaps he's been working on his power / accuracy. He's still only 26 y-o, so he could still be improving with each fight. This may not be the blow-out everyone expects.

 

Qullin dropped N'Jikam 119 times and couldn't finish him,he also got rocked a few times himself. Golovkin would KO Qullin inside of 3 rounds guaranteed!

I see where your coming from,why didn't these fighters you mentioned grab the chance at a world Title fight the silence from these Middleweight fighters is deafening,did any call Golovkin out surely we would have heard that by now if it happened,there was a World Title shot up for Grabs on the 19th of January any of the fighters on your list could have grabbed the chance,but they declined end of story.!!!!

G'z was just trying to fight a lt hvy so I don't wanna hear anything on him "feasting on a JMW". People being scared to fight each other and seeing the once sport as a business is what's ruining boxing. Glad when there are people that do step up especially consistently which is rare.
