Rosado's team are idiots! Just when dude turned his career around and started improving drastically and climbing the ranks while developing after some early losses vs dudes he shouldn't have fought yet at the time they go and throw him into this? **** those guys, he could get seriously hurt vs a bigger dude that no ones clamoring for him to fight. chase Bundrage- you'd beat his ass. Even Canelo is worth it for the $$ though he likely loses at least it's in his weight class and after tonight Canelos gonna be looking for someone to fight who isn't Lara or Trout.

i'm just not sure who to pick here

the junior middleweight with 5 losses

    or

the middleweight title holder who is undefeated and has a very good knock out ratio

    a little help here?

TBF here, Rosado took some early losses and is a completely different fighter than the guy with 5 Ls.
He's also come back roaring into the top 10 at LMW and apparently MW.

He's likely to be blasted out of there early, but if GGG is the hypejob the Sergio, JR, and Geale/Mundine fans HOPE he is, a win over him cements Rosados comeback as nearly legendary.
Styles make fights, and GGG has not fought a tough stalker like Gabe yet. And due to the serial ducking of GGG (most likely the result of short money) we havent seen him against the cream of the crop.

IMO, Proska was/is a top 10 MW, but his style was all wrong for GGG. That said, I believe Martinez would not fare much better. But a guy like Macklin or Froch, or a slick operator like Jacobs could present the right kindof challenge to expose some of GGGs deficiencies. Hell, at this point, I wouldnt mind seeing if Taylor could present the kindof styles nightmares GGG detractors see him having.:think

We'll see. But K2 needs to up the ante a bit......and quickly. GGG has only got maybe 5-6 fights left at this weight before he gonna have to move up IMO.

Look at Ouma's face after he fought Rosado to a gift SD - he looks unblemished.

Then look at Ouma's face after he fought Golovkin - it looks like a bad car wreck, in fact he was hospitalized.

What chance does Rosado have? he survived Ouma by running and holding, maybe he can make GGG look bad for awhile, but that chin will get swiped at some point...

Rosado has a bad case of gangsta ego about to get checked.

i cant look on the positive of this, there isnt one. there are 1200 active middleweights right now, and ggg fights another junior middle. its borderline disgraceful

What is borderline disgracefull is there are the Top 10 middleweights out there and not one of them wanted to have a World Title shot and fight Golovkin,Proska at least showed some balls and stepped up to the plate but the so called Top Middleweights are a disgrace, some have genuine excuses but most are **** scared end of story.!!!!

    thats still debatable
but what about the other 1195 middleweights out there? in the event all 1205 active 160 pounders decide to "duck" the great GGG , and they do have to pick on guys in the junior middleweight division, could they at least find one without 5 losses already for ****s sake? :rofl:rofl

His fight with Proska who was ranked number 10 Middleweight at the time was his last fight, and he has been criticised for not fighting anyone with a pulse and you want him to Fight 1 of the other 1195 Middleweights available,He holds a World Title at Middleweight and theres no one in the Top 10 who will fight him for a Title shot, they say they are ducking Him I for one think theres Merit in that assumption.

Golovkin holds all the aces at the moment and I for one dont want to see him fighting just anyone at middleweight, fighters like Quillen,Pirog,Macklin Chavez and N'Jikam should all be lining up to fight Him for his Title, but the silence is deafening.!!!!!

I'm listening to this radio interview of Rosado on this site and he said Golovkin said at the press conference that Kassim Ouma was the hardest puncher he's faced. Rosado said he was honestly one of the softest punchers he faced  but he does give Ouma credit in that he can hurt you with the volume of punches he throws.

and also he said he met Canelo at a fight and was surprised by how he dwarfed him, so goldenboy didn't want to make that fight cause of Rosado's size  and it's true that Rosado would be the biggest fighter Canelo would've faced. pretty good stuff

It all depends on whether or not GGG gets aides before the fight.
