Golovkin has beat every fighter that dominated his division prior to him. People underrated these boxers because they were primarily European. Ultimately, Golovkin beat them too easily. If he had a few close s****s people would actually praise Golovkin more but because he literally has dominated his opposition everyone calls them "bums".

Yet, prior to Golovkin dominating the division these were the top names of the division. Golovkin has one of the most underrated resumes in the game, he has beat every top fighter in his division and people call his resume poor because he hasn't beaten one "star" name even though other fights have beaten "star" names that were totally past their prime and earned more respect than Golovkin beating the top of his division in their primes.

All of the fighters he beat were on the top of the division.

His resume is nothing more than decent. Murray is his best win imo and the guy is no more than a solid B leveller.

Best he can do at MW... Canelo, BJS, and Jacobs all need to step up to the plate already.

I think he is a very good fighter. But that resume isn't good at all. Lemiuex and Murray aren't that good man. Decent guys but really nothing special.

Martin Murray is a good name, no one can deny that. He clearly beat both Sturm and Martinez.
Other than that, Golovkin has feasted on C+ opposition.

Murray, Lemieux, Geale, Macklin, and Stevens were all good opponents; top 5 middleweights.

If Sergio Martinez and JCC JR didn't duck him; he would've had "names" on his resume

When Macklin fought Martinez, Martinez was a beast, the best middleweight on the planet, he was superb.

15 months later Golovkin destroys Macklin in a few very one sided rounds and Macklin is now a bum, no challenge whatsoever.

There are fighters on Golovkins record that are not great or future HOF'ers but they are/were very solid middleweights and Golovkin completely destroyed them so they are now all "bums".

And Macklin hasn't been the same since Martinez beat him either. He physically looked like absolute hell and was scared out of his mind when facing GGG, that wasn't the confident Macklin that fought Sergio.

If you have to make excuses for why a fighters opponent is good 9/10 that's a sign it's actually sh!t.

Can you name one elite opponent or world champ anybody on GGG's resume has beaten, outside of Geale? I don't think you can.
