He hits just too hard Canelo wont be able to take those hard shots.

No fighter canelo fought can prepare him for Golovkin

Seems people who pick GGG are banking on his power and size and basically nothing else. What if Canelo can take his shots? What if Canelo can hurt GGG?

No GGG could easily out box him and out jab him easy if he wants

Little brook and Jacobs seem to take his:"power" really well, Canelo has better defense so I really don't see why it will bother him

There's a lot of other factors why GGG is the favorite.

GGG has a very good chin and Canelo has modest power. Canelo is a good body puncher and can try to hurt GGG there, but leaving yourself open to counters by GGG, who is an effective and powerful counterpuncher, is risky.

Canelo has slow feet, average stamina, and GGG applies intelligent pressure. It's a tall order to deal with someone like GGG when you aren't strong in these areas.

GGG is technically sound, arguably more skilled with a better jab than Canelo.

All these reasons are why GGG is the favorite

LOL its not easy for canelo to throw body shots once he feels the power of GGG that will play on his mind because if he goes to the body Golovkin can get him on top

It won't be just his power because power without skills gives him only a punchers chance. He has much more than that. He can actually box and those skills along with his power will be the deciding factor in my opinion.

By "Little Brook" you mean the one who got his career more or less ended when GGG fractured his eye-socket?

Or Jacobs who didn't weigh-in and was a borderline Cruiserweight on fight night?

If that's taking power well for Brooks then taking it badly would need to include knocking his head clean off his shoulders. :risas3:

Yeah, a lot of people are but a lot of people are also taking Canelo's supposed improved skills and his speed and the way his body looks to the same conclusion. Then people are looking at the Jacobs fight and making a judgement on that without taking into account the differences between Jacobs and Canelo and why GGG fought the fight the way he did. Canelo has youth but it won't play a major role in this fight because GGG is not shot at all. Canelo has speed but GGG has an excellent jab and time excellent timing. They both have power and great chins but GGG has the edge in both of those departments. Canelo has a devastating uppercut and a vicious body assault. GGG also has a debilitating body attack and a game ending right hand. They both have great ring IQ but where GGG comes out ahead in that category is the fact that he also has wisdom which Canelo doesn't have and that I think will be his undoing.
