    1. Geale got burned today

Said he wants to fight Golovkin, that Stevens gave him problems and that his own style would be an issue for Golovkin. Loeffler proceeds to tell the world that if Geale wants his old belt back, maybe he shouldn't turn down offers like he did for the Feb 1st fight.

    2. Mora was never offered a Golovkin fight :-(

...so he says. I think wrecking Mora would have been an enjoyable procedure. Disappointed.

:yikes WTF?! Dude, geale aint knocking nobody out and wouldn't
even be able to KO GGG in a dream. Geale just wants a big fight
now that he's beltless and the guy who dethroned him just got
stopped quick against a guy he already beat. Geale would be better
just to focus on a sturm rematch and leave GGG alone. GGG would get
nothing for knocking the aussie out, and you can bet that would be
    the outcome.

As if the untelevised Monaco challenger money would appeal to geale - But this would be a HBO worthy fight for both guys next up - hope it happens!

Geale is a bum, he talks crap now that Golovkin already has a fight lined up.

Remember this is the guy that was beaten by the glass jawed bum Darren Barker

If he's a bum then GGG will defiantly fight him then.

So Geale is better off holding up, waiting... waiting... no fight lined up... waiting some more... maybe hoping Sturm gives him the time of day? Right.

I think they're lining up Murray for the April 26th Golovkin date on HBO. Geale wouldn't be bad either, but gives less credit to Golovkin than a win over Murray.

Geale chose to vacate his WBA belt so Golovkin could have it. :conf

Geales not a bad fighter , but come on this is a bridge too far.

Also going toe to toe with Barker isnt exactly steller material.

There is an oddity here, but Loeffler would appear to likely have a point. I haven't yet managed to dig to the bottom of of it, but according to IBO rankings Adama is #3 , Geale is #1 (thus mando) and therefore Golovkin would represent an immediate and makeable title shot.

Now, I'm well aware that Geale lost to Barker, and that fight took place at the time around GGGs team were looking for their next opponent, so perhaps at that time Geale could reasonably argue taking a defense over a mando, but in the aftermath of the Barker loss, Geale openly said that he wanted a Golovkin fight and to paraphrase 'know how to beat him, cos (Geale) fought him in the ams'.

Regardless of whether Golovkins team asked for the Geale fight (as Loeffler says they did) Geales opportunity to challenge GGG (and publicise that challenge - he coulda said 'I'm IBO #1 why won't GGG fight me?') was there and remained there right up until IBO #3 Adama was accepted.

So - in brief - Geale has said he thinks he can beat Golovkin. Geale said within a week or so of the Barker loss that he wanted a quick ring return. Geale has the leverage, through the (- admittedly inconsequential -) IBO rankings to call out Golovkin....yet, for some reason we've heard not a peep from Geale or his team.

Geale is half-stepping to keep his name in the mix. He don't really want it.

Exactly, that is why he waited for Golovkin to name an opponent before talking crap.

If Geale had taken the fight it would have been televised. HBO not gonna bend over backwards for Adama obviously, but if the opp had been top10 HBO was on board.
