Promoter calling Golden Boy Monday for GGG/Lemieux unification fight! (From boxing scene)

Would this be a good fight for GGG as he waits for Canelo or Cotto fight to pass this fall?

Might as well, not like cowards like canelo or cotto would fight him anyways

Should be a fun fight, and smart of GGG to steer clear of Ward.

Lemieux would knock both cotto and canelo out easy

    RUMMY......

What makes u think Ward, who was OBVIOUSLY OVER 190 LAST NIGHT.....(to anyone not blind) could boil down to even 165?????

GGG is the highest drawing 160-175 lb fighter there is.

He's the BRAND...THE CLEAR A SIDE. And he's got a division to clear out.

Only way GGG gets to smoke Ward is @ 165 or less. And ROC will have to do better than 4 mil to drag him up to 165.

GGG isn't A side ... he has no PPV track record as a draw. Nor does Ward, so they are co-A sides at best.

And GGG's camp said he'd fight anyone from 154-168, so the fight could be made at super middle.

Dk if it means anything but every boxing store I've been to, especially in Vegas, only a few boxers had items on display everywhere throughout the store. Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Golovkin. No one else had their own section. A lower scale shop had Canelo stuff on display, but that's it. I didn't see any Ward shirts, autographs, nothin.

Golovkin had shirts (I bought tons, lol), autographs, gloves. He was the only one who had a section dedicated to himself besides May and Pac.

A-side is not just PPV.. its whoever brings the money in the promotion, and/or has the leverage. In Ward v GGG, right now the A-side is GGG.

That being said, Roc could make Ward the A-side if they wanted to make the investment. But its unlikely because theyd have to pull it from their own pockets, Golovkin brings more money to the fight.
