Lemieux is not ready yet. Give him two years and then we can call the fight.

If a dirt poor kid from the Philippines can become a sport icon in America, then why not a Cali-living Khazakstaniazn? Why can't he connect? Every friend of mine who I introduced GGG to now say he's their favorite fighter.

The dude is humble and exciting. That's all you really need to connect to most fans.

GGG is exciting. It matters you don't have to like him but he has the perfect fighting style for PPV.

GGG needs to learn Spanish. Pacman was able to connect with the Mexicans. Plus he had his own natural fan base. Americans are not really down with Eastern Europeans. They are too much like the Russians. And we really don't like Russians.

Golovkin knows Russian, German, Khazak, and almost there with English. He is currently learning Spanish and has even said he speaks Spanish w/ his coach sometimes. He's been on Spanish ESPN so many times now, and most of his fan base is mexicans. Ever hear him coin the term, "Mexican style." Mexicans LOVE him.

Uhm, yeah. Maybe you have problems with Eastern Europeans. I wouldn't say Americans do. In fact, when I found out GGG was Khazakstaniazn it actually made me an immediate fan because I find Borat hilarious.

It's a good fight. Both fighters come forward and throw bombs. Whoever's left hook lands first? Lemieux's hook is faster and less telegraphed than GGG's but GGG probably hit harder. It's a perfect style matchup for action. If Lemieux was smart, he'd throw a lot of jabs moving to his left and mix in straight right hands down the pike. Exchanging hooks with Gennady is not the best strategy and GGG has shown in the past two fights that he can be hit--especially with straight punches.

Between Lemieux and Lee I prefer Lee even if it means only 3 fights this year.

What if maidana fights triple g?

He hasn't done anything since fighting money may. That could be a good ppv. Both maidana and ggg love to throw bombs.

I hear what you are saying and it makes sense to me and would make sense to a promoter trying to put on the best fights for fans, but I'm not sure GB is doing that. I'm skeptical that the WBC will enforce anything at the end of the day, regarding Golovkin and I seriously doubt Golden Boy will put Canelo (if he beats Cotto) or Lemieux in with Golovkin anytime soon. Perhaps in 2017 or 2018, depending on whether GGG has faded by then. I think they are content to fight mandatories and easier matchups until then.

Dwyer picked Bradley to beat Golovkin the other day. In recent months this genius has picked all of these fighters over GGG.

    Bradley
    Pacquiao
    Porter
    Cotto
    Andrade
    Lara

All the major players in this disgusting sport are doing an end run around GGG simply hoping for him to break down, lose by fluke or just get old and go away. It could actually be considered criminal collusion.

Pitiful. Robert Garcia said Mayweather would beat GGG at 154 because "Mayweather would just hide behind his jab and use his defense.":patsch

Mayweather would win at 148-150 but not 154!

:rofl oh 'genius' if you watched the fight you saw Ndam sprint away most of the fight. Neither Cotto or Canelo fight that way.:nut
