Where was I wrong? So you're saying that the Canelo/Ward situation is not comparable but you want to compare a situation where you said "no" as a response to 155 being JMW, and me posting a video that clearly STATES that in most cases 155 would be allowed to be recognized as JMW, but not in all? It would be comparable if you said "no", and provided a link or video for us to read that said that it depends on the situation. You defeated yourself with your own logic.
"Where was I wrong" Every time you assumed my argument. "where you said "no" as a response to 155 being JMW, and me posting a video" Maybe in your distorted worldview I said no to your post but I didn't. Don't try and act like my simple one worded response was also in response to your video post. Why don't you take into consideration my actual reply to that post? Because it doesn't support your argument maybe? If you want to go back to that point in the conversation we can though. My exact response to that video post was this: "That doesn't really change the point in any way. Regardless he still fought two title fights at 155. Middleweight title fights at that." Doesn't sound like I'm denying the fact that 155 can be considered JMW to me. But I'll let others judge. Meanwhile I'm sure you'll try and twist something else around.
Sure, I can admit that my assumption is not fact. That's why I used the word ASSUMPTION. But it's also not a fact that it's wrong. If you truly were implying that 155 could also be considered JMW you would have made that clear. Can you blame someone for making that assumption? Yes, and I responded to that response by saying, "Canelo has had 2 fights officially at "MW", if there were no titles on the line the fights would have been considered a JMW bout. Also we all know he won the title against a small JMW, let alone a MW." and instead of accepting that I agreed that he's officially fought at MW, you went with the cheeky response of "if" There were titles on the line for two fights. Middleweight titles. Making them middleweight bouts Instead of just moving on from the subject. Anyways, I want to enjoy the fight in peace, I know you're desperately trying to turn this around since I made a fool out of you, but I think anyone with half a brain can see how butthurt you got over me correcting you. Enjoy the fight.
You're so hung up in this 155 thing. What I don't think you understand is that there was no focus on the subject on 155 being JMW. No, I wasn't denying it but I wasn't saying otherwise either. Why would I? It wasn't the focus of my argument. 155 being able to be considered JMW never even popped up in my mind so how would I even have had an opinion on it? Fact is I never denied it because I was referring to 155 as being MW, not on 155 not being JMW. You're the only one who brought that up. Canelo fighting at 155 does support my argument. Pointing out that those 155 lb contracted fights were considered JMW bouts does not change that. Nobody was trying to say that his 155 fights were MW sanctioned bouts.
If the often repeated and reported 345-5 record is untrue, then I'd like to learn about that. Strangely, I don't religiously follow the Kahsak amateur program so I am open to being corrected. I'm not sure what the standard is for what makes a casual fan or a "real" fan either. The first big fight I remember watching is Tyson/Carl Williams in 1989. I've watched at least a couple thousand matches in my lifetime, sparred with a handful of solid pros and competed as an amateur myself. If that makes me a casual, I'd like to know WTF it takes to be as awesome as you, Jimmy. Do I have to slobber all over defensive fighters to no longer be "casual"? Or is there a certain completion I'm supposed to like? Or do I simply need to watch a few thousand more boxing matches? Please, Jimmy the Guru, help me become a fan on your epic level.
I'll set here and argue with Ellerbe all day. I've seen him being objective and understanding in the past before. I have not seen the same from you however. They're too many people on here who only care about provoking responses out of people for me to waste my time talking to.

Who has ever said those things? Are you making up an enemy to disagree with? That is not healthy William. I believe they call that a straw man argument, but I suppose one could refer to it as "victims mentality". Poor little fella Willie
