Nobody has ever out boxed Vitali Klitschko. And he has fought better fighters than Juan Carlos Gomez.

    Klitschko by KO in 5.

Gomez is fit and is an excellent contender, former champ, southpaw Heavyweight with speed and power, that said...I like Vital by a UD or late stop...thing is this may be a more fast paced bout than the Peter or McCall fight, so both men may be pushed to an action pace...who can take the pressure better

That ridiculous odds means not so many people is giving Gomez a good chance to win . . . I myself thinks Gomez is going down before the 7th round . . . but who knows . . . **** happens in the ring . . . so good luck. :hey

I'm betting on Gomez by decision.
I think his movement and hand-speed can give Vitali problems. He knows what to expect giving all the sparring they've done too.
Having said that, there's a good chance Klitschko will just destroy him leaving me feel as stupid as when I predicted Lyakhovic would beat Valuev (!).

Lyakhovich should have beaten Valuev, and Briggs. He's just a stupid fighter. Vitali will not have a reach advantage over Gomez, so he won't be able to jab at will, like he did with Peter, whose reach was three inches shorter, if boxrec is to be trusted.

As good as Vitali is, the Peter fight made him look much better.
Gomez isn't going to stand there with a vacant look in his eyes eating punch after punch.
I really believe if Gomez performs to the best of his ability he's going to take this one.
In the past he hasn't always trained like he should but he must know this is the chance of a lifetime and he'll never get another opportunity like it.
Whatever the outcome, I think it's going to be a frustrating night for Vitali.

I wish I could share your optimism. But, I reckon Gomez gets on his bike and loses a boring UD.

Gomez was a Cruiserweight and has lost a fight before, that tells me all I need to know. Another one sided Klitschko hammering for Gomez.
A long sustained beating or take a dive Gomez.

Gomez has a suspect chin, Vitali is gonna beat him up and knock him out just like he did to Williams and Peter.

A Gomez win would be so much better for the sport, I have to pull for the guy.

Distance. You stay outside, and inside. Never in range and you dont let him establish it. Easier said than done, but both PBF and Manny Pac neutralized the DLH jab, rendering him about as useful as a castrated man in a brothel. Circle to the left and to the right, get inside, land, and get the **** out. More circling. Watch Trinidad-DLH, rounds 9-12. Oscar wouldnt let Trinidad set, and it frustrated him.
