Gomez is going to give Cotto trouble..

Cotto is one of my favorite fighters, However I don't think Gomez is crap. His biggest probelm is he gets hit easily. That will probably be his downfall in the end. However he can box some, and has a huge heart, and can take a punch. Remember he was supposed to be an easy win for Gatti. Looking forward to seeing a good non-PPV fight if nothing else.

 

I Agree Gomez Is A Tuff Guy. But I Really Dont See Him Going Any More Then Five. Cotto Tko Ala Quintana Style.

 

It depends if he can take a shot to the body like Mosley, or if he can't take it to the body like Quintana.

 

Gomez is a tough solid fighter he will make a good account for himself but he will be outclassed. No big deal.....

I know that, but I don't know if Alfonzo can take body shots, I really haven't seen much of him.

 

What about Gomez' body attack? ... he's a pretty accurate puncher ... he's not as fast as Cotto ... he's just as strong ... and I believe that his chin can hold up - better than Cotto's.

Even though Cotto is supposed to win ... I have a feeling that he's going to get upset.

I think the fact that Gomez has fought as high as middleweight, while being a natural WW -- has help his confidence and his ability to take hard shots.

 

Only thing that Gomez has to worry about is tiring out once he has Cotto on ***** street.

That has been the downfall of Cotto's opponents who had him rocked ...

I seen the commercial and I think that HBO is preparing for a possible upset.

 

Cotto-Gomez took place in the past in cotto's 14th fight when he fought Cesar Bezan who fights like Gomez ...

It was all Cotto the entire night ...he left bazan disfigured

 

You can say that if you want but Gomez is a live dog ... he's going to give it his all ....

Cotto is nothing special ... he's not going to razzle - dazzle Gomez ... he's going to be right in front of him.

Cotto reminds me of JLC when he fought PBF ...

I don't hate Cotto ... he's nothing special though ...

He can't beat Collazo or Clottey ... now once all this **** is done ... someone's going to have to fight those guys. They're both #1 ranked challengers and are in line for a title shot.
