Clottey ? The guy who was dominating Margarito then sprained his wrist and refused to suck it up and fight allowing Margo to outhustle him !

Clottey would get raped by Cotto he isn't tough enough to handle an animal like Cotto

Collazo ? The guy who also didn't have the heart to ignore the pain when he hurt his left against Mosley and proceeded to lose 10 rds to 2 !

 

Gomez is a good kid , but he fades fast in fights , probably due to his conditioning or lack therof .

Clottey was robbed ... I was just watching that fight and he beat Margarito for 7 rounds and deserved a close decision but since Margarito was the champion he got the benefit of doubt from judges.

He's solid ... he's in great shape, he fights good on the inside, he takes punches to the body well, and he has a great chin. I have yet to see him dropped - while he had Margarito on ***** street early on in that fight.

Collazo is a slick boxer w/ underrated power ... everyone knows about his past w/ Ricky Hatton and SS Mosley.

This fight w/ Cotto and Gomez isn't going the distance ... Someone's getting knocked out and for the fact that Cotto is a slow starter - gives Gomez the edge early on in the fight, as long as he doesn't tire at the wrong time - he should be good.

Like I said Cotto is the favorite but ... Gomez has a chance to pull off the upset.

If Cotto can get taken 12 by Malignaggi ... then I can give Gomez a punchers chance.

Only edge that Cotto has is speed ...

 

I thought Collazo beat Hatton handidly .... Wether he had a good hand or not he wasn't going to beat Shane. Against Cotto he would take a serious beating....

Clottey is average your on his nuts because he made Margarito look like a bum for 3 rounds and then went into a shell ! Did you see his fight with Baldomir ?

 

I thought Clottey won 7 rounds. For the hardwork both fighters displayed iI thought it should have at least finished in a draw, but it was the Margarito show that night...
