Hooray for me! In all seriousness, what were the Gomez supporters smoking? Reading over fitzgeraldz's is like reading a satire.

 

Oh my God I completely missed this. Are you ****ing serious? I like Collazo, but the pain Cotto would put on him is unbelievable, he'd most likely lose every round en route to being stopped somewhere around the 10th.

Same goes for Clottey, he has nothing Cotto has not seen before and he isn't even the best fighter he's fought. I'd give Quintana a good chance to defeat JC

Man up, you were wrong on numerous things. Gomez was entirely outgunned and was at a disadvantage in more than one thing other than speed. Cotto was stronger, faster, more powerful and just overall BETTER.

 

Collazo is very fast and was able to compete on a speed level w/ Mosley ... Louie is also a good boxer in his own right w/ deceptive power.

Clottey is a good fighter, in great shape and has a good chin ...

You look at things besides the physical factors ...

You also have to consider that Cotto has a suspect chin and has been rocked one too many times.

 

Cotto is an elite fighter, the sooner Fitz realizes this, the more people will respect what he has to say.

Collazo went neck and neck with Hatton. And Cotto also competed on a speed level with Mosley and ultimately won the fight.
