Gomez will box his ears off. Is this a WBC eliminator?

Because if I was Peter, I would stay away from Gomez, if he is in good shape and has a good mindset, he would totally outbox Peter too.

Gomez will beat Virchis easily. Virchis got a gift against Sprott and was getting well beaten by Bidenko before he caught him in the last. Virchis is decent but nothing compared to Gomez.

Peter was supposed to get outboxed by Toney,McCline and out boxed by Maskaev also, or so it was said many times in many ways on ESB:good

Gomez has a fragil chin.... I mean seriously if he can get stopped in the first round by y.diaz then imagine what a virchis or a peter does to him

Virchis always stands a chance, one punch is all it takes.

His power overrated? You are out of your mind, he knocked out Robert Hawkins with a jab, this is the guy who went 12 rounds with both Tua and Peter. His problem is getting a clean punch in, because he is so slow, but he has plenty of power.

That's one fight. I've seen him plenty of times and he's a big, strong lump but he isn't a huge puncher at all.

Well, how about his fight against Adrian Serin, where he nearly decapitated him with his left hook?

    Gomez should win via decision.

Gomez definitely has the edge in skills...but he also has a suspect chin. I think Virchis will find it sooner or later.

Gomez is of course the better boxer but he is FAR from his best days as a Cruiserweight champ. Anyone who has seen his last fights knows that he really isn't that good anymore and just lives on the name he made as at Cruiserweight. Of course he can beat Virchis, but I doubt he will stay alert for 12 longs rounds and not get caught. I go with Virchis.

LOL nobody said that joke Jameel McCline was going to out box Peter. I thought McCline was going to get knocked out in 6 rounds or so instead he knocked Peter around like a ragdoll. McCline sucks and many think he won that fight.

Gomez has had over 40 fights and lost once. He isn't chinny. He was caught flush by a 250lb heavyweight and was hurt...anybody can be hurt if they are caught clean. I've seen him box many times and he definately isn't chinny.
