    I wasn't questioning you....

He just doesn't come across as a particularly smart guy.

    Touche!

Smart enough to negotiate his purses for his fights and smart enough to get this story in the Daily Record- last time I checked he doesn't have a press officer.

Credit to him for doing it - I suppose he has been in the game long enough to know what he is worth.

I used to watch you down at Millmoor Curtis and always thought you would go on and do something in the game ?

In all fairness you seem to be taking to your new proffesion quite well mate :good and good luck to you. I saw you at the Metrodome in your second fight, we were there watching Andy Ward and Paul Royston on the same bill.

yeah, Arthur got exposed alright, exposed to 3 english judges & an english ref!
I still to this day dont know what Nicky Cook did to win that fight by a UD, all he did was run, & throw nothing punches, & wince badly everytime Arthur caught him with a big shot.
But stupid Arthur, he thought he could just box within himself & get a decision, not realising he was NEVER going to get a fair crack at the whip, & I still cant forgive him for being so naive that he thought he could turn up in England & be treated as an equal. What a bloody fool.

I remember shouting at the tv that night for Alex to finish Cook on the occasions he had him hurt, but Arthur was too busy fannying around posing, thinking he was picking up the rounds while of course the were going to the running wrinkly man Cook. What a stupid **** Arthur was in that fight, Im still angry about how he thought he would get decision in England. Didnt he see Simpson v Dazzo Williams for **** sake???

But hey, what do I know? All of a sudden Cook 'schooled him' even though I cant think of a big punch that awful fighter landed all night. I still maintain Cook is awful, & he will lose whenever he decides to fight again, maybe in 5 years time.
Terrible L for Arthur, but thats what he gets for thinking hes a brit, & we are all treated the same... As I say, Simpson v Derry Matthews or Simpson v Dazzo Williams... If Arthur had me in his corner that night he would have known what he was up against. he didnt though, & now hes got an undeserved L to the guy who got beasted by a bum like Luaveno...
