    we dont really know the kinds of adjustments gomez made since fighting feliciano, both fighters feliciano + gomez get alot of flak here on esb, i can remember some people predicting an early round brutal KO for kermit cintron when he stepped in with felliciano no one expected him to take cintron to the trenches but he did, gomez is a decent fighter no one should right him off hes most likely to loose perhaps by brutal fashion but he'll leave a good account of himself and probrably land another title shot with a weaker belt holder at 147

    Gomez is going to be tough. Cotto isn't going to roll over him. Gomez has faced bigger fighters and bigger punchers than Cotto. I was surprised to see how much bigger Gomez was than Cotto.

    Good test for Cotto imo, Gomez is a durable ******* and won't fall over. This will be tougher than people think.

    Like I said before; Alfonso is one of my favorite fighters. What worries me about this fight is that Gomez is just good enough to take one helluva beating before Cotto stops him in the latter rounds. He has fought guys WAY bigger than him, so we know he is double-tough and has a good chin. Cotto, on the other hand, is not to be ****ed with. I'm concerned about this turning into a Roberto Duran/Davey Moore type situation that ruins Gomez.
