Gomez vs Klitschko is scheduled for March 21st

Very good fight to make, Gomez is a live underdog.

 

Watch the Yanqi Daiz fight, Gomez doesnt have a good chin, this is the same Diaz that was bounced all over the ring by Sam Peter in 05. Gomez got skills, but beating old man McCall and the slow slugger Virchis is no special feat, Vitali will destroy him like he did Kirk Johnson.

 

This is a very good matchup. Yeah, the Haye fight was the more attractive bout but Gomez is a live dog and is gonna make this interesting while it lasts. You can make the argument that a win over Gomez would be Vitali's second best victory to date. That is unless you think it would be better than the Sam Peter win. Kirk Johnson didn't come to fight and Corrie Sanders trained to fight 3 rounds.

Yes we will, I hope Gomez does win, but I really doubt the former Cruiserweight champ has anything that will make Vitali nervous. The guy comes into the ring out of shape more times than not, and we all seen what Vitali did to the similar sized Sam Peter.

 

It's a good fight and an overdue one, Vitali should stop Gomez within 6.

vitali is the favourite going into this fight. Gomez however can be a very difficult opponent...He has the style and the skills to make the upset, any way this could be a great fight...

 

I think Gomez has the skills to make it interesting...but I just don't think he'll have the mental strength when things start getting tough. The thing with Vitali is not just that he hits well, it's that he's busy as well and that can be very indimidating.

If Gomez has a genuine HW punch I'd boost his odds but he'll be looking to try to win on points...and over the long haul I just wonder about his focus.

 

He landed nothing meaningful the whole fight. Vitali is not fast but he is twice as fast as Virchis. Skillwise it is not even close between Virchis and Vitali.

 

the only chance Gomez has is to win by injury. Either a cut or torn muscle.

Vitali can't be outboxed and will not lose on the scorecards.

 

mark my words...gomez will make vitali look stupid..vitali was open mouth breathing against sam...gomez will keep him moving and missing...vitali may quit on his stool by round 10
