The strong attraction of good non-PPV fights :yep

Can you imagine how well known Floyd would be if he wasn't a PPV only fighter?!

Thats about 27 times more than watch Floyd-which makes sense because those two Mexicans provides 27 times more action and entertainment than Floyd.:good

Yep. That's that **** that prevents the mainstream audience of being able to watch big fights.
In the old days you could watch Tyson beat the crap out of Spinks all over the world without paying a dime more as your cable subscription. And Floyd thinks it's weird nobody knows who he is.

Different time and age of human history, technology, generation, currency, population and countless other factors. If you don't know about this already using rational thinking then you my friend have a problem.

By the way, Tyson vs Spinks was on PPV and generated 600k buys. I'm sure(or hope) you know that 600k back then(considering the factors I mentioned above) is 1.2 million today.

I believe we were speaking of number of viewers watching the fight "Live"-not the different models of broadcasting. The FACT remains the Arce fight drew 27 times more viewers than did Mayweather.
Even you cannot make a case against it.

Surely the advertising revenue makes up for the lack of PPV buys? 28 million people is a ridiculous viewing figure.

which is why we should do away with the ppv biz model and go back to regular totally free tv
