I had the fight 8-4 for Haye. This guy doesn't agree, but his analysis of what happened is excellent.

I like The Big Ragu's analysis and predictions of fights. I've been waiting for him to put this one up.

Like a lot of scorers on here he is making the mistake of scoring a fight on clean effective punching alone. That is one of 4 variable you score on.

If that is all you are scoring on he probably did win 11-1 or 10-2.

A lot of you should take a leaf out of this guys book. He doesn't like Haye but he knows what he's looking at and is man enough to admit it

Haye def won but I don't think it was a great victory though considering all the crap Haye talked and promised before the fight.......

Actually i thought it was an intense fight considering the size deferents. Both did great.

Valuev is a decent fighter. Good basics but of cause with somewhat slow and big movements. Haye didn't do enough for some rounds and kept going to the left only to be connected with some heavy rights hands from Valuev. He shouldn't have stayed in the center of the ring all night. Of cause Valuev shouldn't try to chase Haye a round, but a step forward could have made the pressure more intense....

Haye did the right thing - but was a little to much in active. Jumping in, throwing some heavy and precise punches was solid. Should have punched more, when Valuev had spinning a round though.............

I could score the win to both fighters. Both wants to win and fought there best style to prevail.

(Haye fought to win - Dirrell fought to survive ............ enough said)

Haye trained for track & field. Valouev landed many more punches than Haye, Hell, there were some rounds where Haye threw no punches. Jim Watt had Valouev winning the fight. Chagaev was the read WBA champion, Vlad beat Chagaev. Haye had to depend on criminal judges to give him the fake title.

I watched the fight live and Jim Watt had Valouev winning the fight. Jim Watt the former world champion that is. Jim Watt said that Haye was making a mistake by running and not throwing punches, you can't win by running without throwing punches. The other commentator had Haye winning by one point, but was very unsure. Haye ran and he is a coward. Vitali wants' Haye now, but Haye does not want to fight him and has proven such. Haye ran from Vlad, then from Vitali.
