    lmao!

he's got some weird analogies but he makes sense....

He said Clotey's hair looked like a pound of weed....which was funny

he said he was growing bud on his head

Interesting......I felt he really missed out on alot of stuff like how Cotto retreat alot when he gets hit....I think if he does retreat he is in for hell as Mayweather will cut that ring off and he will hurt him.

Also I dont feel Gomez or even Clottey are on Mayweathers level in terms of skills so the comparison is a little off!

But he is right any offense leaves you open to be hit, however as Mayweather is the counter puncher of the two and Cottos only chance is to come forward I expect Mayweather to make Cotto miss and then make him pay.

I don't think Cotto is too patient when he got hit by Pacquiao he was eager to exchange instead of box which was his downfall.

Lastly he mentioned that Mayweather never gets tired however we have seen Cotto run out of gas a few times and I expect to see the same this time.

    My prediction Mayweather TKO 9

It's kind of messy and long-winded without getting really specific about the way their styles match up, but my favorite point was how Cotto can have success throwing with Mayweather, and timing simultaneous shots. I said something similar in my breakdown thread a while back:

We all realize Floyd has the superior accuracy and defense up close and has the much faster punches, but at the very least, if Cotto can't anticipate Floyd's punches, he can throw with Floyd, and it wouldn't surprise me if doing so repeatedly taxed Floyd much more than it damaged Miguel.

Cotto is a volume puncher with awesome body shots. Let's see how Floyd reacts. Still Mayweather Jr. TKO11

Horrible analysis! He spent too much time looking at one fighters' weaknesses and not the other.

This is a very bias video, he's mentioning Floyds flaws or lack there of but fail to mention Cottos glaring flaws, yes Cotto tries to use timing and punch with his opponent but we saw what speed did against Pac when he used this method, he was dropped twice and was in retreat after that, Floyd may not knock Cotto down but his stinging accurate punches can and most likely will discourage Miguel from throwing...

Cotto is most effective pressuring you, get you to go backwards and this is how he does his damage with body punching and so forth, Floyd knows this and that is why he stated fans don't have to worry about him running or boxing with Cotto he says he's gonna stay in the pocket, I'm thinking Floyd will want to walk him down, similar to Ortiz because just like Ortiz, Cotto is most effective coming forward, I know he can box going backwards but its not his strong suit and it won't be effective with Floyd, expect a competitive fight for two maybe three rounds and then Cotto will get broken and beaten...

All good points but we are neglecting the fact that Floyd rarely throws in combonation unless a fighter is completley out of position and cannot effectively execute his own attack.....that being said Cotto's ability to punch off the backfoot or dare I say retreating is quite good and much more evolved when compared to say an Ortiz and even JMM who's strenght is counter punching. Many say JMM is more skilled than Cotto but that purely based on his advanced counter punching craft. Cotto has more layers and is a better inside fighter.

The only problem with that bogo is Mayweather typically only throws one punch at a time to avoid thus exact strategy, Floyds also very good at getting back on defense after he throws, Floyd is fast & accurate enough with the straight right, lead left hook to discourage Miguel from continuing to use this strategy just as Manny was able too...

Cottos best chance and he will be very successful if he employs the jab get Floyd on the ropes and punishes him there specifically to the body that's the plan he better go with because his timing will not match up with Floyds at all...

Strange....I find it difficult to pin point what Floyd does wrong but I think its a safe bet to say he has less difficencies when compared to Cotto lol!

So according to this guy, Floyd doesn't make adjustments, all you have to do is throw the jab against him to have success, and Cotto will outhink and outbox him using his supposedly superior timing. I guess we'll see.
