JCC Jr steps up again and faces one time challenger Gomez who is also fighting a young and fresh opponent

Donaire is going up to face former holder Sidorenko

    Soto defends against Antillion

and Rios is back in action

meh, card is all right. Soto and Donaire fights would make a good Showtime doubleheader. Chavez-Gomez should be held for a Top Rank Live event on FSN espanol.

Gomez is fighting at Middleweight - isn't he a Welterweight?

donaire vs sidorenko is a good fight.

how is Gomez at 157 a step up? It's a joke fight. The Donaire and Soto fights are good.

Gomez is smaller but easily the most skilled fighter that Jr has faced, so it is a step-up imo. Jr's size advantage might carry the day for him to a blowout win, but it would surprise me if that happened.

Donaire vs Sidorenko is a decent match by Donaire's standards of late.

Soto vs Antillion is an excellent match, the first live body Soto's fought in a while.

Rios vs Bolanos is alright as a stay-busy for Rios, Bolanos is pretty durable and game at the least.

From an overall perspective, it looks like a strong action card.
