I recently started boxing and I wanted some feedback on my routine from you more experienced boxers.

    5x3 shadowboxing as a warmup
    6x3 working the heavybag
3x3 working the double end bag
    3x3 jump rope
    3x3 hopping on tires

Does this look like a good boxing routine for a total beginner?

its not bad but it depends for example is that all your going to do? how many times a week? its just too vague a question your best looking into some of the other threads first

For a begginer it's ok, must do that alot though. Go running too. When you get into real training there is much more to it, weights, core training, forearm training, running, conditioning, technical drills, sparring etc etc.

Well, some don't use it but it increases punching power. For 10 minutes per day it has it's benefits

When I started out, I was doing a basic routine with my coach. It is similar to yours and you can read my blog on it here:

Since I started sparring, I quickly learned I needed to increase my fitness and have made changes.

This is the current training plan.

    Sundays: Boxing w/ Coach
    Monday: HIIT runs
    Tuesday: Long run
    Wed: Plyometrics
    Thursday: Boxing wo/ Coach
    Friday: Plyometrics
    Saturday: My choice
