well, he must pay his taxes in Quebec, speaks the language, has a following; so he certaintly deserves it from my point of view

    Read the OP again.

Tell me how you can read that as Bute wants to travel.

Well, that says he WILL travel for his next 2 or 3 fights. How can you read something else? Are you sober?

If that's travelling Kessler should travel to Sweden and Froch to Wales. Come on man. You know the drill here.

Why would Bute go to Australia if not fighting an Aussie? I think Interbox are right in a way in what they are doing. Lately they always focus on one outcome and it didnt work. So when asking in sept/october 2011 what they will do in 2012 they say "we plan to make big fight in USA with big fighters".

They cant right now say they will fight in England, because the only way it will happen is if Froch promote the fight and they cannot say they will fight in Danemark, because it will only happen if Kessler promote the fight. They didnt say they will not go to Europe either.

In saying this they are saying in my view: "we are ready to makes fight happens, what say you?"

Then you can have another view of this and claim that Bute is trying to hide in North America, but with the history of Bute, fighting in USA against anybody will not mean the same than fighting in Québec, he will not be at home. Hell people even say that Ward in AC is not a homefight for him, so how does Bute fighting in Las Vegas is hiding?

The money would be bigger in Europe than in the us.
For example Ward doesn't get anywhere near the purses of Kessler, Abraham and possibly Froch eventhough he is in the ses final.

They should let the fights go to pursebids and then we can see where the money is.

I'm very sure Sauerland easily generates far more money for the fight than Intebix could.

Well ... he wants to travel...

as long as the timezones are roughly the same so his sleeping patterns aren't ****ed up.

and as long as the language and culture is roughly the same so that he doesn't feel outside his comfort zone.

    Safe travels, Bute.
