Last nights fights where good. Nothing to make you stand up and go crazy, but Strikeforce had a solid card last night. It's nice to listen to someone call a fight and not screech and yell like Old Joe in the UFC dose.
They need to try and put more shows on like that. Put more of the fighters that outside fans know. Not a Pro wrestler vs Pro Wrestler fight... I for one don't want to see that. Next card can be strong. Hendo vs Babaloo is a good fight and now back the undercard stronger.
I was alittle upset that the main event went the distance. It was almost like they couldn't hurt each other. Diaz also unsuprisingly was a total dick in the interview post fight and KJ was all class. I don't think anybody would be disappointed if Diaz fell off a cliff on one of his triathilons.
The first round of Thompson JZ was better than the whole of UFC 119. Excellent card with some great action fights. Diaz is still his usual bone head self. Was cringe worthy listening to him during the interviews. What an idiot.
Was very suprised at the post fight interviews. KJ was classy. Diaz was throwing the scoring punches all night. KJ was throwing the show stoppers. It would have been nice had one of them took a page out of the other ones book.
I just wish KJ had fought properly instead of trying to get into a boxing match with Diaz. Diaz''s boxing is flat out pathetic. Noons on the other hand was throwing one jab surveying his work then throwing lead left hooks and big hay-makers with no precision. I can count on one hand the amount of times Noons moved his head. Diaz had a solid game plan to use his length. Noon's was just to move his hair from his eyes and hope to land a punch. Disappointed in Noons showing. He could have done much better than that.
I agree with your post fight interview assesments. I also felt Noons did enough to win but he was never getting a decision in San Jose.
Yea the main event was pretty good. I was really excited for that fight just cuz of the bad blood diaz and kj noons have. I would have love to see a knockout.
Sounds silly but Noons hair ****ed it up for him too. It was continously in his facing and he was continously having to move it. After the first round I thought he'd ask his corner to cut it.
You're spot on mate. I couldnt for the life of me understand why Noons just didnt get his hair cut. Why spend precious seconds removing your hair from your face and allowing it to become a major distraction in a fight as pivotal as that to his career? Noons ****ed up. I think he knows it to.
reminded me of fury mcdermott 1 then fury got it chopped for his next fight, im pretty sure kj will do the same
