    if boxing was very popular in australia im almost certain we'd be right up there amongst the best. but unfortunately its not mainstream here. We are a nation with roughly 20 million people yet have so many world champs and champion teams in so many different sports, the numbers (proportionally) and per capita statistics are certainly in our favour. We are undoubtedly a sporting nation. Sport is what we do. Sport is what we are good at.

    Given the popularity of boxing here, id say we are doing quite well all in all.
