No Australia isnt, very average ATM. The openers should be Katich and Jacques. Katich enough said, and Jacques made a hundred in his last test innings. I also see some BS talk and opinion about Haddin. Yes he is having a bit of a rough trott but has a very good record for Australia as a keeper/batsman - better than Marsh and Healy. It was always a hard task following on from Gilly. Yes I recognise that Matthew Wade from Vic is very good and also has a good record at first-class level, however his record is no better than Haddins. Haddin should be there for 3 years more, after that Wade is still 26 and ready to take over.
Haddin is a more talented batsmen than Marsh or Healy ever were but his glove work has been sloppy for quite some time and his best cricket is behind him. He's stiff that his prime years coincided with Gilchrists reign but ****, sadly, does happen. Haddin isn't the future, Wade or Paine are and we need to blood and give time to the bloke who's going to be standing behind the stumps for the next decade instead of the past prime player who hasn't been delivering on a consistent basis for a fair while.
