Good fight, but Chavez looked like he should go up in weight

    Chavez boxed well, but seems to not have the output he needs to have to win. I actually think he could stand in there with most 168ers - although that of course wont be easy.

    But he will get better speed-wise as he comes up.

    I had Martinez winning 8-4, but most rounds were close because Sergio hit the gloves a lot.

    All in all a good fight and both men did well.

    Chavez got schooled. as far as weight: he will have to move up as he gets older. He does not have that many fights left at MW

    Martinez on a different level....chavez jr is tough though needs to improve his activity rate when fighting by increasing his handspeed and footwork, and has to use more jabs and combinations.

    8/4 is being extremely generous. I had him pitching a shutout going into the 12th.

    agreed with the bit about JCC going up in weight

    how the **** did you give Chavez 4 rounds?

    I was a bit generous. But there were rounds where Martinez throwed much more, but hit almost entirely gloves.
