    Ali was loved and hated during the 60s. Ali was charismatic and he could make people laugh. That goes along way. Larry Holmes was more mature, smarter and more well rounded of a man. Look at Ronald Reagan when he was president. He almost never knew what he was talking about. He could screw up, lie and get out of it because he had charisma.

    One of the realest men on the planet. He can be a crab he can be bitter but he never turned a fan down and never made a drama show of his charity work or what he gave back to Easton a real classy street guy and a true peoples champion.

    Wellllll.....

    He got a thirteen-fifteen odd year old girl pregnant as a middle aged man. Did it again later in life and let this one live with his wife both of whom he assaulted. He spoke at KKK rallies against mixed races and agreeing with separation stating that anyone caught having interracial relationships should be killed he routinely cheated on his wife with women of all races while also still maintaining the Muslim dribble about women as sex symbols servants to men. All of this while being the poster boy for a group of murderous ignorant racists.

    He was not a good man at all.

    1. Muhammad Ali, he stood up for what he believed in 2. Alexis Arguello, a true gentleman and professional 3. Archie Moore, great human being, a great champion, cared about children 4. Salvador Sanchez, a cool confident champion, clean fighter, too bad death took him too soon, he was class all the way. 6. Matthew Saad Muhammad, a great man and champion, fought thru adversity as a child, a caring individual. 6. Joe Louis, a very great champion and man, humble beginnings during the Great Depression. 7. Rocky Marciano, a great champion and family man, retired undefeated, fought all who was available. 8. Floyd Patterson, very determined articulate champion, polite, good mannered. and behaved like a champion should 9. George Chuvalo, tough fighter, suffered thru sad times with family tragedies, never knocked off of his feet. 10. Jerry Quarry, came from a boxing family, came up short against the best, but very courageous, a very polite individual.
