I don't know about anybody within 20 pounds of Pavlik's weight class that hits WAY HARDER .

 

Thanks for the info. We know so little about this guy that it's nice to finally gain a bit of insight. Jack Leow compared Lockett to Zertuche, and we saw what happened to him!

It's a shame that so many decent British fighters go under the radar, winning stupid WBU/WBF titles instead of proper titles that would bring them to the attention of others, both in Europe and across the great divide.

This is often due to the fact that Frank Warren likes to dictate to his fighters a lot more than other promoters, particularly those in the US do, only giving one fighter at a time any publicity. Surely a promoter should 'promote' his fighters, he is not their boss for God's sake, it should be vice versa.

That said, I don't see Lockett offering Pavlik too much difficulty, he is a useful fighter, European title level really, to ask him to beat a top 10 P4P is too much.

Good on him for taking the shot though.

haha,its about how he fights,he's a stalker throws alot of one twos,yes they are crushing one twos but his technique is most certainly not inpenetrable and someone who could get inside kellys guard is going to cause him alot of trouble much like JT did in the last fight.
i dont see lockett winning this but i hope he gives a good accountof himself and it propels him onto good things.

Wish him well, this fight wont be as plain sailing for Kelly as people think, but it would be a massive upset nonetheless.

haha he's my hometown boxer and someone who i know quite well,ill support him to the seath because of the attitude he adopts.
when the pavlik duddy fight is made ill happily take an avatar bet,not on the ko bit though
