Can't disagree here. You went a little off my initial comment but I get you. Brook took a risk and it appears to be paying off.

Exactly. It could be argued that Brook was even more avoided than Golovkin- despite what a lot of haters said a bunch of top 10 guys (Macklin, Murray, Lemieux, Geale) was willing to fight Golovkin- the same can't be said of the Welterweight division and Brook

If you look at who all these big names at 147 are with- Al Haymon or Bob Arum- would they want to risk their stars against Kell Brook, or in house. In fact the question is- when was the last time either one of them did risk their stars outside of their own stables- Mayweather v Pacquiao doesn't really count because of the absurd amount of money they made.

The fact Vargas was the highest profile fighter from either stable willing to fight them- and he wanted over $2m for it- should tell people that Brook not getting the big fights is no fault of his own. They also seemed to ignore that Porter was forced to face him or vacate- not the other way round.

The fact Brook was willing to fight GGG answer all questions people who don't understand the game have looking through Brook's Boxrec page for HBO and Showtime names and ask who's not willing to fight who. It was the Welterweight division, not willing to fight Brook.
