This dude, He switches stances WHILE coming in, AND throwing punches! His style also seems so relaxed and chill. I need to see him in the ring soon. [yt]oDAfq8Eg4zo[/yt]
He ran the **** away as soon as he won that title. He's had three fights in nearly three years. That's a ****ing joke. He can stay there.
Any injury updates? I don't understand why they just didn't reschedule the Golovkin bout. I was so disappointed when it was cancelled. Awful
If they did reschedule, it wouldn't have been for at least three months, because a ruptured disc is no joke, especially for a boxer. I couldn't see Golovkin waiting that long for the fight anyway.
There Bagging Golovkin for Fighting Ishida Pirog went 12 rounds with Ishida will be interesting to see how GGG disposes of him.!!!
I was impressed by his fluidity in switching stances while throwing. Shame how it's been since then but he's got time to work his way back into the spotlight.
Both Manny Steward and Omar Henry present that night (R.I.P), with the latter, like he always does, being a passionate fan always throwing punches with the guys in the ring and showing support. And two things, really, about that fight: 1. Pirog put on a great showing. Remember being impressed by his defence and head movement. Not really seen much of him since, so I don't know his performances have carried forward. But it's safe to assume he's been below par? 2. Boxing was far the last thing on Danny's mind that night. His post-fight interview revealed all; saying straight up he don't care about what just happened in the ring and that he just wants to be home with his family.
Whatever, he didn't say that. And..........he wasn't diagnosed with cancer until 2 fights later, in which he won both, after the he got KO'd by Pirog. Danny aint making excuses, so you don't need to make them for him. :nono
