With all admiration and respect to the young and undefeated JuanMa Lopez, I do believe that the "FEARLESS" Gerry Penalosa , have a very good chance to win this one. After six rounds his vast experience as one of the best defensive fighter and counterpuncher, will end the Big O to his record. Watch his BODY PUNCH, might put Juanma to the floor. All our support and prayers to you "FEARLESS". From Kuya Santi. ( # 1 Fan from New Jersey)

    Good luck, Gerry.

I predicted a JuanMa Lopez UD win, because it's going to be near impossible odds stacked against Penalosa, but I really hope that you prove me wrong.

Win or lose, I know you will represent the country proudly.

best wishes to my man gerry, may lady luck favor "fearless". the odds are stacked against him in a new weight class, against a hard hitting young lion. i hope he pulls off the upset.

gerry is the man but i'm afraid that juanma is too big and powerful for him. i predict the first stoppage loss in gerry's career and would be surprised if penalosa wins this one. gerry should have been fighting guys at 118 or below but was forced to take guys at the higher weights just to have a crack of a big payday. good luck gerry!

I certainly hope nobobby told him to look for the paycheck but not for the win. Some rumors spread around the internet after the Medina fight. I just hope Penalosa is looking for his last big victory, even in a losing effort he can go out like a warrior.

i'm sure gerry is very confident that he can pull this one. but as great as gerry is, i feel that juanma is the next big thing. and juanma at 122 still looks big that he could actually fight at 126 or even 130 with no problem. gerry would be coming into the ring with the pride and confidence of a champion but once he feels juanma's power, it could change the complexion of the fight.

now if i would be wrong, then i'll be very happy to eat my crow.

same view...ability wise, juanma is top 15 p4p for me...i do not know who to cheer...my heart is with gerry but i also want lopez to win to prove himself against the people who doubted his talent...he is not going to be an elite fighter, he is already on of the world's best...

as for gerry, i do not expect him to win more than three rounds but he can certainly score a KD against juanma

No predictions here, Just gonna sit back and enjoy this.
Tho I don't expect JuanMa to be the aggressor in this fight.

People seems to forget Penaloza/Ponce deLeon. We all know Ponce doesn't has the skills Juanma has. I wont even talk about power.

    We're not forgetting anything.

We concede that JuanMa's stronger, taller, bigger, younger and is still improving.

We're just wishing Gerry good luck.
