Mate hard to argue Hatton was blown up when you consider Floyd is the same height and hardly much difference in weight. Hatton was the reigning Lt Welter champion of the world and had won the WBA Welterweight title as well. Marquez, sure. Well above his best weight. Throw in Mayweather's lesson to De la Hoya at 154lbs and the picture is clearer. I'm not so sure Paul Williams would share the opinion Shane has never ducked anybody . As you said, it's about declaring sides and it's good fun.
Hope it's you who's in for the bad day Boonie! This content is protected Hard to see Mosley win....but geez I'd like to see that!
Floyd wins this by comfortable decision imo. Shane is too old to beat someone as skilled and still close to prime as Floyd. The year 2000 Shane could beat Mayweather maybe but not this Shane.
The thing that I think really gives Shane a chance is that he's got the size to go with his speed. Mayweathers fought some quick guys in the lighter weights but I really think Mosley is as quick or quicker then those guys plus he's a proper welterweight. This could be the strongest and fastest opponent Mayweather has ever fought combined with one of the bigger guys he's fought. I put a little money on Shane just because I think the 4-1 he's paying for a win is way out of order, however I think Floyd will probably figure him out after 6-7 rounds and dominate the 2nd half of the fight to a unanimous decision win.
